I hope the probable line-up is not accurate, if so, Pioli must not want to keep his job. He is gambling his career away on an out of form Suso and an out of position Hakan. Both Leao and Paqueta should be in this starting lineup. As far as Piatek, I hoped he would regain his form, but he has gone out of his way this season to show us all his serious lack of ball control, he is the anti-Ibra. My best hope is that he wears down the defence a bit before being substituted for Zlatan. Forza Milan… Read more »

If caldara doesn’t get a chance to play, I think we need to start utilizing gabbia. How are these players who are better than mussac not a get a chance. We saw how good gabbia was in a otherwise horrible preseason. Same for maldini jr. he played better passes to the forwards than suso and hakan has this whole season. Jesus we need a coach with balls or at least a pair of fucking eyes!

I don’t know why milan wants to get rid of Piatek. Instead of us to be busy in the market getting experience midfielders we are relying on Ibrahimovic which is good but needs other experience players in the midfield to support him

Poor 1st half. No improvement in our attacking play. I don’t get why every coach at Milan is so afraid to change the formation, players and tactics. It is a well KNOWN FACT that Piatek was very successful playing with another striker at Genoa but we use him as a lone striker. We have played 433 all season with no success and we are struggling to score goals still but the club and coach think the problem is the striker? Ok, we have Ibra on the bench and still we continue with playing 433 with a lone striker. The level… Read more »

If you look closely at Krunic you will see that his passing is in fact really good, he is not flashy like Kessie or Paqueta with runs and dribbles but he makes the right decisions. The problem is that even when you make a good pass to Hakan/ Suso they just can’t continue the action to the striker. I was thinking that Krunic is doing nothing on the field but after looking at higlights of some previous games i saw that he set up a couple of goals with his smart passing, something that we missed with Bona/Kessie in those… Read more »

nope. if u look closely, krunic’s passes were mostly backward passes, the kind of passes a proper dm like keane often pulled to defuse the threats from opponents and slowed down tempo, not upward passes like attacking cm should’ve done. yeah he did have few shot on goals after ibra came on, but thats not exactly his job. what u call ‘smart passes’ were actually ‘save passes’ that didnt cause problems but didnt move milan’s attack forward whatsoever either. u cant be a bridge between mf and attack if u keep passing backward

Yeah right! Just dump the f*n 4-3-3 already before it’s Serie B because that’s where we’re heading with these SO CALLED tactics. Not even Ibracadabra how prevent that from happening.

“They had it all under control from the start and were much much closer to winning.” er, samp players couldnt even control their own pee, much less the game. just because they parked the bus and had lucky fast breaks from bennacer’s and calabria’s mistakes doesnt mean they were in control. had krunic been good enough to aim for bottom corner rather than shooting straight at gk milan would’ve scored and forced samp to abandon their park the bus strategy and attack, which would’ve resulted in more goals for milan

I wouldn’t be suprised if they offered Romagnoli in exchange for Todibo. Just look how well they spent the money they got from Cutrone. Look at the goals / minutes ratio Cutrone had and compare that to Leao’s and you’ll see how well the money was spent. And I swear Cutrone would have scored from that Leao miss today.

Actually I don’t know why y’all keep cursing hakan, did we all forget he’s not a winger? And I keep wondering why coaches plays him there. And why’s no one talking bout how effective he was when he moved to middle of the pitch, that was d only time I notices he’s on the pitch he’s always lost on d wing. And if we had someone better in Suso’s position we could have killed the game.

I actually agree about Hakan – he’s a decent mezzele, CM; and a terrible winger.

“If we had someone better in Suso’s position…” It’s not his position, it’s his role in the team. He’s our “star” player, our “creative spark”, and this how we look like … If he had someone similar on the other side (Deulofeu for f’ sakes!) we would have a much better look. But there’s no one opposite to Suso (thanks management!), and alone he’s simply not good enough to carry a seria a team to the top.
