Krzysztof Piątek has returned to scoring but he focuses on the win and the group.
No Milan player has been criticized this season as much as Piątek as after his breakout campaign last year, he’s struggled to find the back of the net and to play well in the 2019/20 season.
Yesterday, however, he played perhaps his best game since the start of the season. In the 15′ minute he scored a penalty which he earned to give Milan the lead, and overall he worked hard for the team and was involved in the play as the Diavolo beat Bologna 3-2.
“The goal? I think we have to play all together, the most important thing is the group and we won together. The group is the most important thing, not the individual,” he told Sky after the game. “Europe? I don’t know… we take it one match at a time. We always want to get the three points, we think about the next game and the most important thing for us is always the next encounter.
“My moment? I’m better now. I have improved physically, as the first half of the season was difficult for me. I don’t know if I had some issues in pre-season, but I feel good now.
“Ibrahimović? He is a great player, he has great experience and Milan need this kind of players.”
i love the fact that as milan and piatek gain results and thus regain confidence, he’s really able to channel his inner lewandowski; his obvious shooting technique, the way he drop deep to draw defenders outta their position and then attack the empty spaces, his poaching technique reminds me of this https://youtu.be/0YvgFtfZrws .hell, even the way he executes penalty kick is so similar to lewi. i hope with better support from his teammateshe can continue scoring
One advice I give to piatek next time when you are performing really well with a particular jersey number (19) stick with it than to try prove people that you break a jersey with a curse (9).. Our top scorer a defender (Theo) is in your old jersey. I know it gives you nightmare to think what if you hadn’t kept your old jersey. Am sure you would have been with the league top scorers.. Any way wishing you the very best In our upcoming game…. Forza Milan
