Franck Kessié has stated ‘we have been working a lot and listening to what the coach says and carrying out his instructions’ and ‘the results are coming’.
Milan beat Bologna 3-2 at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara last night thanks to goals from Krzysztof Piątek (15′ pk), Theo Hernández (32′) and Jack Bonaventura (47′), and continued to show improvements.
After returning to the XI last week in the win over Parma, Kessié was once again in midfield for Milan, completing 95 minutes.
“We really wanted to win on Sunday evening because we’d been playing well but now we need to pick up as many points as possible because we dropped many,” the Ivory Coast man told MilanTV. “Winning was very important to us. We’ve started winning but we need to keep working, we go home with three points and need to rest so we can prepare well for this week for Sassuolo.

“The offensive phase? We’ve been working a lot and listening to what the coach says and carrying out his instructions. Everyone is working really hard in training and the results are coming. We need to continue working as we have been, and playing like this until the end, because we need to pick up a lot of points.
“The penalty? I gave Piątek a boost to take the penalty because he’s been through a rough patch and it was important for him to take this penalty. And we all saw that after scoring he played a great game, holding up the ball against 2-3 defenders and I’m sure il Pistolero will score again in the next game.
“The standings? Football can be tricky, we started the season poorly, but there is a long time to go. We need to believe in ourselves and keep doing our best until the end.”
