Ismaël Bennacer has spoken about the win over Bologna and about the Zlatan Ibrahimović rumours.

Bennacer has earned his place in the starting XI and his influence on the game of Stefano Pioli’s side was once again evident last night, as after the Algerian was subbed out, Milan began to struggle and nearly threw away the win.

In the end, however, the Rossoneri got the three points from Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Krzysztof Piątek (15′ pk), Theo Hernández (32′, 40′ own goal), Giacomo Bonaventura (47′), Nicola Sansone (84′ pk) scored the goals.

“I feel good, we won and that’s the most important thing. I’ve been working hard and have improved a lot, which makes me happy,” Bennacer told MilanTV after the game. “The coach talks to us a lot, about tactics but also about us, and I think that’s what makes the difference.”

Speaking in the mixed-zone, the 22-year-old said: “We are growing, training well and this is important. We have done well in these two games, now we have to focus on the next game. We are growing, we have confidence in every game, the coach also helps the team a lot and this is important.

“Ibrahimović? He is a great player, he is a leader, and a team would always do well with such player.”
