Puma have released a limited-edition Milan kit to celebrate the 120th birthday of the red and black club.
Milan are celebrating 120 years on December 16, and Puma have released a new commemorative jersey and capsule collection, as confirmed by a statement on the club’s site earlier on Monday:
“Established by Englishman Herbert Kilpin on December 16, 1899, the Milan Foot-Ball and Cricket Club was the first football team formed in Milan and is today recognized as one of the giants of the game. With 48 major honours, including 7 European titles, the Rossoneri kit has graced some of the world’s biggest games, epitomizing excellence and passion.
“The jersey features design elements commemorating the 120th anniversary, including Herbert Kilpin’s iconic club founding statement: ‘We’re going to be a team of devils. Our colours will be red like flames, and black like our opponents’ fear!’ The statement is printed on the jerseys to be worn proudly by the players, additional features include commemorative sign-off and shirt highlights featured in gold colour.
“The Milan 120th Anniversary shirt goes on sale today and is limited to 1,899 individually numbered shirts presented in special packaging. In addition to the match kit, a wider collection featuring fan T-shirt, T7 track jacket, a cap, a scarf and a heritage football are available.
“The 120th Anniversary kit and capsule collection are available to buy at AC Milan official stores (Casa Milan Store, Milan Store Galleria San Carlo, San Siro Store, store.milan.com), PUMA.com, PUMA stores and leading football retailers.”
