Bonaventura to start against Napoli in the place of the suspended Çalhanoğlu, Musacchio set to return to the XI

Giacomo Bonaventura will play alongside Suso and Krzysztof Piątek tomorrow, while Mateo Musacchio will get back to partnering Romagnoli.

Milan play Napoli at San Siro tomorrow in front of over 60,000 fans and it seems that Stefano Pioli has decided on his XI.

The formation will remain 4-3-3 and there will be three changes compared to the line-up that played against Juventus before the international break.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Ismaël Bennacer are suspended, while Léo Duarte picked up an injury, and so Pioli is forced to make some alternations. Lucas Biglia will take the place of Bennacer in the middle of the pitch, with Rade Krunić and Lucas Paquetá by his sides, leaving Franck Kessié out again.

The position of the Turkish will be filled by Giacomo Bonaventura, who’s played five games so far this season. Jack will play alongside Suso and Piątek and will try to assist the Polish striker and get him into scoring chances against Alex Meret. Duarte, meanwhile, will be replaced by 29-year-old Mateo Musacchio, who would have started ahead of him even if the Brazilian was fit to place.

AC Milan (4-3-3) – Stefano Pioli (Probable: MN/Sky)
Gianluigi Donnarumma; Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernández; Lucas Paquetá, Lucas Biglia, Rade Krunić; Suso, Krzysztof Piątek, Giacomo Bonaventura.

Milan should get Ibra not useless Giroud

This will be the weekend to change Milan’s season finally. I am saying this for two weeks now and I hope this time it happens. We need this win badly to kickstart our season. I still believe we can salvage 4th place from this hole.

I feel if the team play like
Biglia Krunic
Suso Paqueta Jack
Maybe they will feed the striker more

I hope you are right. Our game play has improved a lot but this team is still lacking something and I don’t think it’s Ibrahimović. Personally I think everything will depend on our winter transfer market strategy. I would love to see Milan switch to a back 3 and play 343. Hernandez and Conti are good attacking wingers and they can create a lot of chances for the front 3. Demiral and Lucas Torreira is a must buy for January in my opinion. With Caldara, Demiral and Romagnoli at the back we would have one the best defense worldwide. Calhanoglu… Read more »

Tbh I have zero faith in this team and the coach am even losing interest in football

Because you are not a football fan let alone milanista

Why not play Kessie in Biglia’s position. Biglia slows down play, gives away possession and is error prone.

Not all the time. Kessie and Biglia do not play the same position
