Theo Hernández has recovered from his injury and by the end of the week will get back to group training.

Theo played against Novara in the first pre-season game and then played 45 minutes in the second preparation match against Bayern Munich. However, he suffered an injury in that game.

His condition (ankle injury) turned out to be more serious than initially thought and so Theo has not been able to train with the team since the end of July.

Between tomorrow and Friday, however, Theo will get back to training with the rest of the group – as reported by Sky Italia today. Hernández will train under the eyes of coach Marco Giampaolo during the international break, so his chances of playing against Hellas Verona could increase.

Theo will therefore be removed from the injured list for the game next Sunday (20:45 CEST), but it still remains to be seen whether Lucas Biglia will also recover in time to be called-up.

I think Duarte will start ahead of Musacchio at least according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.

La Gazzetta dello Sport sometimes fail to predict the starting XI for the next day. They have no idea if Duarte will start over Musacchio or not, they’re just guessing and filling the papers because they have to do it.

Don’t expect Rebic to play till probably November/December cos Giampaolo needs his players to understand his playing philosophy before putting them on the pitch

Even if we buy Messi in Milan, u would here we need to integrate him slowly to understand the concept. I get sick with this stupid things. Look at hw Joao Felix is exploding at athletico Madrid what stops us from unleashing Leoã, look at Lukaka that came in very late he as two seria A goals already, why is it going to take a professional 3/4 weeks do understand a concept, is ur concept from Mars or Jupiter. Wen we start loosing then u will bring them in to play. Ar we cursed ? we are always a victim… Read more »

Lol. I hope we are really strong in the game by then, so they can go for an experienced game changer in January window to give us that extra push that we’ve been lacking so far.

Why Giampaolo tactics so complicate tho? I mean all the top new players in other clubs started playing the very next game. I mean players have to also adjust in the real game not just training. He should start all our top players so he can see where each need to improve.

Exactly. Not sure why it seems so difficult at the moment.

The guy has been gravely missed. I get the feeling that Milan can beat anyone with this guy on the pitch. He is the Messis of Left backs and a real threat to Maldini legacy. Paolo must be thrilled by the challenge.

I’d play Duarte ahead of Musacchio any day any time
