This coach will be a fool to play Samu again.

Rafael Leao is better than Castillejo

OMG, this guy is impossible to understand ! Why to call 4 goalkeepers for this game instead of calling 3 and another midfielder, striker from Primavera ??!?!? Why to call Soncin and not Maldini or Sala or Brescianini or Mionic or Abanda ( LB ) or another player who can be more useful than a fourth goalkeeper ? Giampaolo, wake up, old man ! I swear I still don’t understand this guy…

Why were Milan coaches in the last years like this?
They loved fielding underperforming players.. Montella with Kalinic, Gattuso with Calhanoglu, and now Giampaolo with Samu. Is it really that hard to understand who play well and who don’t?
With all due respect to their capabilities as coaches, I doubt that most supporters have wrong judgement.

This formation is great but I think Giampaolo will go with the Christmas tree formation 4321.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow. I really believe he will come good. I have to be optimistic as this must be a turning point for Milan.

He should have called also Jungdal, because 4 goalkeepers are not enough !

If Giampaolo starts Castillejo again then he is nuts but lets see what happens i dont usually believe what the papers write but i didnt believe that Borini was going to start as a CM last game either so they are problaby right

Probable lineup vs. Brescia (4-3-2-1):
Donnarumma, Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez, Kessie, Bennacer, Paquetà; Suso, Calhanoglu; Piatek [@DiMarzio]

hoping to see hakan as playmaker and suso as SS
for one time

I think this is a good team. No Borini and Samu alone is an huge plus. Same for not playing Çalhanoglu as a regista. A proper regista like Bennacer will help a ton! Also, I do think that with this formation we will indeed see Hakan playing more of a trequartista role and Suso closer to a SS, as the former tends to drift to do middle if given the green light, while the latter tends to go forward and to the right even when that’s not what he’s supposed to do. Another thing that we might see thanks to… Read more »

Suso – Piatek

Jokes aside, we can see how good a coach is when we see his reactions. If you watch Istanbul’s Final, you will see lots of great actions by Carleto and lots of amazing reactions by Rafa (Famous Serginho – Gerard encounter) but sadly after he left, I never saw a coach being able to read & change the game. Not even Allegri at his Milan era (maybe Miha but his squad was too weak). That’s why I said we should go for coaches that proved they can change the game. We had the chance to convince Allegri to rejoin us.… Read more »

Soheil… I honestly don’t believe we were close to Conte or Sarri because it depended on CL qualification. At least that’s what I read from various sources. I also read that we made Allegri a great offer but he turned it down to take time off. Simone Inzaghi was our main target but he decided to stay at Lazio. We were also targeting Tare as sporting director and he declined as well. Giampaolo was not Milan’s first choice. To be fair it was down to Giampaolo only after we failed to secure Simone Inzaghi. If Giampaolo fails to qualify for… Read more »

It’s actually not true. Jardim was offered to Milan but Maldini wanted to go for Giampaolo. Even withing the Seria A we had better choices. Gasperini for example. Even Donadoni. Do you want me to believe that He was our only choice? I can’t accept that. I still hope he be good. I’m not seeing great signs but I hope I be wrong.

Milan chose Giampaolo because they have an Idea that they want to fulfill. They don’t want to qualify for CL yet.

Negative! Gasperini was never an option unless Milan qualified for CL. Also, it was duly noted that Gasperini wanted to see out his project with Atalanta after their first qualification to the CL. Gasperini was never a possibility. Smh Allegri was our main realistic target and he declined. At no point was Jardim contacted by Milan. The only reason Jardim name came up was because we were link to Luis Campos as our Sporting Director. He was the former Monaco director who built the team that won Ligue 1 with Mbappe. It came down to Simone Inzaghi or Giampaolo. Simone… Read more »

Am I talking about coaches we could get or coaches we wanted to get? Juve got sarri, inter got conte. Even roma went for more successful coach. If we end up with a midtabler, thats what we want. Do you believe Giampaolo was the best available option? It’s a simple yes or no question my friend.

Yes, he was especially after Allegri and Simone Inzaghi declined Milan’s offer.

Mourinho and Arsene Wenger are past their best.

Paulo Fonseca was only good in a weak Ukrainian league with a stronger squad at Shaktar Donetsk.

Fonseca will struggle to adapt in Serie A. The match against Genoa was proof of that as Roma was exposed by brilliant counterattacking football.

As I mentioned before, clueless coach who has never achieved anything in his life is wasting yet another season for us! all management’s fault for going for some nobody instead of world class coaches already available like Conte, Mourinho, etc. This will be another disastrous season 🙁

bro mourinho cant come because of his affection for inter, as he described them as his best team ever but allegri left juve cos of his style of play and his not attacking minded, with average players hes just dere.

It’s sad to see how much Inter has improved their squad from the coach to the players while we’ve done nothing except quite possibly weakened ours with the selling of Cutrone and failure to secure Bakayoko while also still not getting a playmaker; To add to that final point Oscar is supposedly in talks to sign with Inter while we… chase Correa. I hope after seven seasons Giampolo can make me eat crow but I doubt it.

At the end of the day, all we can hope is that Giampaolo and the players get it right this time. Play our strong players in their strongest positions, and we should be able to beat Brecsia even without a coach.

Giampaolo, just get us the 3 points.

here is the thing:
play winger (don’t have real winger)
play middle (don’t have real trequartista)
yet we buy CB, LB, and striker every transfer window, fuuh…

I would like to see if the coach will try 4321, with Benacer as registra and Suso & Calanoglu as 3/4s. Also Paqueta and Kesie as Midfielders. It might works.
