Theo Hernández is expected to be back available on Matchday 3 after the break, while Biglia trained apart yesterday.

Theo suffered an ankle injury against Bayern Munich in pre-season and therefore missed the opening match against Udinese on Sunday.

The €20m summer signing will also miss the game against Brescia this Saturday, but according to Milannews.it, the Frenchman should return after the international break and therefore should be fit to play on Matchday 3.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Hernández returned to running during training yesterday and therefore his return is approaching. Milan will place their faith in Theo in the upcoming season as they’ll only have two left-backs – the 21-year-old and Ricardo Rodríguez.

Lucas Biglia, in the meantime, trained apart yesterday according to MN, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to be included in the squad for the first San Siro game of the season.

Why is this our luck with new defenders? Conti, Caldara and Theo…. nonetheless he is our best signing

The Big Dog

If it wasn’t for injury Milan would have had the best possible defense in Conti, Caldara, Romagnoli and Theo. Let’s just hope Theo doesn’t end up like Conti and Bertolacci who never looked their old selves after injury.
