Franck Kessié has attracted interest from Monaco but their offer was too low and the player doesn’t seem too interested, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi reported on Thursday evening that Monaco are in talks with Milan for midfielder Kessié.
Bouhafsi suggested that Milan want over €20m for the player, that Franck is interested in the move, and that the Rossoneri are already working on finding a replacement for the 22-year-old Ivory Coast man.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, however, provided an update on the situation during Calciomercato – L’originale: “The Monaco offer submitted was immediately returned to the sender, it was deemed too low. Milan don’t want to sell Kessié and the player doesn’t want to go to Monaco.”
It’s hard to imagine the club giving up on Kessié at this stage of the transfer market. It’s been reported several times in the past weeks that he’s impressed Marco Giampaolo greatly in training.
