The figures of Monaco’s offer have been revealed, but it seems unlikely that Franck Kessié will be on the move.

Last night it was reported that Monaco have submitted an offer for Milan’s Kessié. Gianluca Di Marzio suggested that the bid was quickly returned to the sender and on Friday Milannews.it’s Antonio Vitiello provided an update on the situation.

L’Equipe claimed this morning that Milan and Monaco have an agreement for Kessié on the basis of around €35m but Vitiello is painting a different picture.

The MN journalist reports that Milan received an offer from Monaco worth somewhere between €23m to €28m. Milan are evaluating the offer but with 10 days to go to the end of the mercato it would be very difficult for the club to find a Kessié replacement so the deal is very complicated.

Vitiello adds that another thing to consider is the personal terms between Kessié and Monaco. The player has apparently requested a rather high salary from the Ligue 1 club. Nicolò Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport is saying that from the entourage of the Ivory Coast man, it filters that the 22-year-old is doing very well at Milan and would like to stay in the squad of Marco Giampaolo.

Schira also writes that the offer of Monaco is 25m and so it’s not very tempting for Paolo Maldini, Zvonimir Boban and Frederic Massara. More updates could arrive but Kessié seems likely to stay.

If anyone should leave from the midfield at this point let it be Calhanoglu. Kessie been improving by each season. I am confident that he will shine under Giampaolo who should give him the same responsibility that Gattuso had with Anceloti’s Milan. Kessie like Rino would act as the dynamic player who gives boy wonder Bennacer like Pirlo the breathing space to distribute the ball and create play and move the ball around. Kessie must not leave. He could be the revelation of next season. Gattuso said it himself that Kessie was the better player than him. I totally agree.… Read more »

Seeing the club are considering offers not even up to all that we’ve paid for him,I think Giampaolo still prefers a different type to Kessie ,despite reports that the player has impressed him that he now wants to keep him. As long we won’t make a lost on Kessie sell him. His unique qualities are not going to count for much with Giampaolo if he can’t basics like control and pass as a modern day midfielder even at 22. In Portuguese league there are younger players with similar qualities and much better ball skills and value at around 30 mill

Want unique qualities? Strength and stamina is all he has.

Was being sarcastic as I’m used to hearing people saying he’s unique qualities!. Don’t really know these qualities but I too suspect it’s strength and stamina mate

It it really happens, even if for 30 M, maybe we better not hope a lot from the management.
This club probably this only club who sold the players mostly below their market values..
