The Rossoneri met Giuseppe Riso today to talk about Pietro Pellegri, but a deal is only possible if Silva goes to Monaco and that transfer is still not happening.
Milan are trying to offload André Silva but this is proving to be a difficult task as Monaco no longer appear to be interested.
Silva even played in the pre-season game on Saturday against Manchester United, but in any case Milan and agent Jorge Mendes continue to work on finding a new club for Silva, who joined the Rossoneri in 2017 for €38 million from Porto.
According to Milannews.it’s Antonio Vitiello, Milan had a meeting at Casa Milan with agent Giuseppe Riso. The meeting lasted almost an hour and in it the Diavolo asked for information about one of Riso’s clients – 18-year-old Pietro Pellegri, who joined Monaco from Genoa in January 2018 for €25m.
The idea of Milan is to include Pellegri in a deal for Silva in order to facilitate the move of the Portuguese to Monaco. However, MN claims that the French club is not in favor of this proposal as they are unconvinced of Silva. In addition, Monaco have a high valuation for Pellegri, who played just six matches and scored one goal since arriving in Ligue 1 from Serie A.
The leadership of Milan also had a meeting with agent Andrea D’Amico today. Milannews.it claims that the topic was Sebastiano Desplanches, a goalkeeper that already plays in the Milan Youth Sector.
