Mario Giuffredi has denied the rumours that Conti is looking to leave on loan.
Milan fans have still not seen the Andrea Conti they thought they’d be getting when the club paid €22m + Matteo Pessina + €2m bonuses for him in the 2017 summer.
Conti suffered two serious knee injuries and the number one choice in the right back position is Davide Calabria. Reports have come out in the last days stating that Andrea has understood he will not be starting this season and therefore wants to leave on loan, with Parma – according to Sky – ready to take him in case of an opening from Milan. His agent, however, denies everything.
“Conti remains at Milan without a show of a doubt,” Mario Giuffredi told Milannews.it on Sunday. “He’s getting on well with Giampaolo, but Andrea will be happy only when he’s back to what he was at Atalanta. Unfortunately, only injuries have stopped him.”
With or without Conti, the Rossoneri will play Udinese in the Serie A opener on August 25th. A week later, they play Brescia at San Siro and if you’re planning to go, football trips AC Milan is for you.
