Patrick Cutrone is officially no longer a Milan player, the club has confirmed.
Milan have completed their first sale of the transfer window and it’s fans favorite Patrick Cutrone who has left the club.
The home-grown talent has been part of the Rossoneri’s first team for two full seasons, scoring 27 goals in 90 appearances. However, the club decided to put him on the market this summer and the Premier League’s Wolves took the chance to sign the 21-yea-rold.
“Milan can confirm the transfer of forward Patrick Cutrone to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC,” a statement on the Diavolo’s website reads. “The forward came through the youth ranks of Milan and joined the first team squad in October 2016, making his senior debut for the Rossoneri in May 2017, bringing with him his particular sense of belonging to the club. The Club wishes to say a special thank you to Patrick for his passion and commitment during his 12 years with the Rossoneri.”
“A big ‘good luck’ to Patrick for his new professional adventure in the English Premier League.” It is believed that Wolves have agreed to pay €18m plus €4m of bonuses for Cutrone and that he will be earning €2m per season there, which is almost double what he would’ve made at Milan.

“Wolves have made exciting young Italian striker Cutrone their latest new signing ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League campaign,” a statement on Wolves’ site reads. “The 21-year-old centre forward has put pen to paper on a four-year deal and becomes the second new face to arrive at Molineux this summer following the loan signing of Jesus Vallejo from Real Madrid last week.”
It was very clear that Cutrone did not want to leave Milan, but in the end he was convinced of accepting Wolves’ courtship and join the EPL side. “I’m very pleased to be here because the club really wanted me. I’m very happy and want to give my all for the team,” he told Wolves.co.uk.

“The club really wanted me and being able to play in the Premier League for Wolves is fantastic. I just can’t wait to get started. I’ve come here to play football. I’ll have to settle in initially and I’m looking forward to heading out on to the pitch to play. You never stop learning and I’m here to learn new things, but I’ll certainly give my all for the team.
“I can say to the fans that I’m very pleased to be here and I can’t wait to play and feel their support.”

Cutrone also wrote a message on Instagram to the fans of Milan after leaving: “I wanted to tell you so many things, but I don’t know where to start… Dear Milan, that’s what it’s like. You welcomed me at the age of 8, I was a child who dreamed of scoring a goal at San Siro. Now I have grown up, as a player and a man. Rossonero, on the field and in life. An immense honor.
“Thank you so much to everyone: the staff, my teammates. And a huge embrace for my fans. You will always be in my heart: you made me feel loved in every moment. For me, leaving a positive memory in your hearts is the greatest victory. I wish the best to the club that I love, my teammates and you fans! With all of my Rossonero heart, Patrick. Forza MILAN.”

All the best our beloved Crutone. Please prove your critics wrong. Who knows , one day you may wear red and black again
I won’t be surprised if he becomes the top scorer in the PL with the best official passer in the world “Neves” behind him.
Next season I expect Tonali to officially be making a statement about that comment. I am praying that he ends up at Milan. He is a Milan fan and if Bennacer amounts to nothing Milan will have to break the banks for that Kid. And I hope he does what Barella did. He made it clear that he would go no where unless sold to inter.
he clearly did not want to leave – sad. I really like him!
Best wishes for you pal. Hoping you will wear the black and red shirts again. We are waiting for you here. Please dont join Juventus or Intermilan in the future if you are planning to come to Italy. Remember your home, malpensa airport then straight to san siro. At least next season you will have face in Fifa 21 so i can buy you back to milan
Wish him good luck!

He doesn’t even look happy in the photo shoot. All the best Cutrone.
I will always cry for the departure of my favourite Patrick, I wish you all the best my boy, will forever mis you #cutrone
Good luck and I hope the premiership goes well for u. But if it doesn’t at least u have doubled your money and playing time! For me u will always be welcome back to milan
This is ridiculous, 18 millions for one of the most promising CFs in today’s football.
Juventus just sold Kean for 40 millions. It is not reported weather they retained a buyback clause but that is how you profit on your talent if you must.
Anyway hope you prove your doubters wrong! Forza Cutrone!
The numbers are more painful than the loss itself. It is insane. 18m for a 21yr striker with 2 seasons in serie A. And at the same time 30m plus 20% plus a talent for another talent with half a season in France. No matter how good Leao ends up (we pray for that), the math doesn’t make any sense here -at the moment at least.
Unless Leao ends up to be a new Mpape and Cutrone flops, this is a bad business.
Yes. We sacrifice cutrone for this leao. If he become another matri, maxi lopez, luiz adriano, bacca, niang. I will be piss off. I always imagine cutrone can become very good strikers. Or atleast same par as gilardino
So it’s official- Cutrone out, Leao in. This is our new reality, face it. I don’t know how good Leao is going to be, but I certainly don’t think we lost out on one of the biggest talents in the world.
Says le midtable who said milan should sell BOTH ricrod and laxalt so borivaldo can be next maldini
The reality of football. I wish Cutrone the very best. Only time will tell if Milan made the right decision. With that said I have to give Milan my full support because my loyalty is with the club.
In my oppinion it was a mistake, but I am sure they needed money and they were forced to sell someone and didn’t have many options !
out of the all transfers this one is the most painful one, especially when he is being sold against his wishes. I have faith in Maldini and Boban but signing Leao for 30m when Lille got him on a free transfer last year doesn’t bode well. We also sold Djalo for 5m who is talented young CB without giving him a chance is another strange example i.e. we were after Kabac, Demiral etc yet we didnt consider Portugese under 21 international CB a chance in the USA tour! We beat several big clubs to his signature yet he was sold… Read more »
One of my favorite players of the recent Milan era. I understand the decision, but it’s still sad. Hope he kills it in the premier league.
Might make me at least half interested in watching a bit of English football again next season. Good luck, Patrick. Hope you score 20 in the league.
He looks really sad in all the pictures during the transfer saga, even in the pic with a wolves jersey on. I wouldn’t mind if he scored 20+ for the next two seasons and Milan buy him back at triple the cost lol.
I think Cutrone’s face in that Wolves shirt just about sums it up. I swear to god if this guy becomes a world class striker…
Devastating. Same feeling when we lost kaka to madrid. But atleast kaka transfer come with a good amount of money. Good luck cutrone.
“The club really wanted me.” Good for Wolves.
And here Milan “really wanted” Leao.
Anyway hope in a couple seasons we get to sell Piatek for 100mil and buy Cutrone back with Neves in a double deal. (And us not selling Leonardo Rossi and Gabriele Alesi).
Unfortunate thing is the money. Even half decent players get 25-30 mil fees now. And we sold Cutrone for peanuts.
Good luck Cutrone.
Alesi and Rossi, good prospects !
Am going to missed your vibe in the team. I hope you will be soon to take what belong to you… Forza Cutrone
I don’t understand the kind of deals Milan is doing, we’re selling our young stars who has great potentials in cheap price and we don’t include buy back clause or percentage in future sales.. I’m not happy with that business at all.. A whole Cutrone for €18 million while are buying Rafael Leao for €30 million
