Rafael Leão had a 5.5-hour meeting at Casa Milan today to define all the last details as he’s set to join for €25m plus bonuses; Léo Duarte will arrive tomorrow to complete his €11m transfer.
The Milan mercato is moving forward as after officially selling Cutrone to Wolves, the Rossoneri can now complete the signings of Leão, 20, and Duarte, 23.
As reported by Milannews.it, Leão landed in Milano from Lisbon on Tuesday morning at around 11:00 CEST. He then went to Casa Milan with his agents and left after 5.5 hours to stay in a hotel in central Milano.
Milannews.it suggests that the Rossoneri and Leão have agreed on a contract worth €2m per season with bonuses taking the amount to €2.5m-€2.7m per season. Everything is now set for his medical tomorrow and for the signatures; the medical was originally scheduled for today but got delayed.
Sky’s Peppe Di Stefano reported earlier on Tuesday that Milan will be paying Lille €25m plus bonuses for Leão and the deal will not be exceeding €30m. This is probably taking into account the fact that Tiago Djaló will move from Milan Primavera to Lille and he’s rated at €5m. Leão spent just one season at Lille and they are making a huge profit from him as they signed him on a free transfer.
Center back Léo Duarte meanwhile will arrive in Italy tomorrow. He’s already said goodbye to his teammates at Flamengo and he will join for €11m, making €1.2m per season for five seasons.
