Ismaël Bennacer landed in Milano today and has already completed all the necessary medical tests; tomorrow (Tuesday), he’ll officially join the club.

Bennacer to Milan has been done for a while, but now all those who were worried of a possible ‘gazump’ can be at ease.

The midfielder landed in Milano at around 13:00 CEST on Monday, following his win on Friday with Algeria in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in which Bennacer won the Player of the Tournament award.

The 21-year-old, who can play as a regista but also in a more advanced role closer to the strikers, went straight to La Madonnina clinic for his medical. After 4.5 hours of testing, Ismaël went on to perform the second and final part of the check-ups, doing some fitness tests.

As reported by Milannews.it, tomorrow the player will be at Casa Milan to sign a five-year contract. The Diavolo will pay Empoli €16m plus €2m bonuses while the player will earn €1.5m per season.

He had a strong season at empoli and after is performances at AFCON I’m optimistic of his arrival. I was upset after not getting Ma y players but this guy has shown he continues to develop and he can seriously slot in perfectly in that midfield. The approach and team is starting to take shape and I’m getting more and more excited for the new season every day. It finally seems like we have an approach and are getting players to fit a system instead of just buying names to play.

It’s certainly a great move especially for the price. Very well studied transfer, it’s very unlikely to go wrong. Contrary it has a lot of potential to be a masterstroke. It’s possible that he will be one of the best transfers of the summer.

What I really like about this guy is the fact that he’s a fighter and Milan really lack a player like him in that Midfield… Welcome to the family Ismaël ❤️

Our midfield line is looking strong now. We need a few back up players cause the season is long.
However a midfield with Bennacer, Kessie, Krunic, Bonaventura, Paqueta, and Suso is not something you can toy with.

Meanwhile …Fekir joins Betis for 20 million. Atleast Gilliani had a nose for good deals.

After they become garbage, he can’t sell them because no one wants them. That’s his specialty buying low cost rotten apples and gets stuck with them in the team

Fekir is a very good play maker but he is injury prone like Bonaventura….. Serie A is a tough defensive League in Europe… CR7 hit around only 20 goals last season…even Messi can’t score 25 goals if he play in serie A….strong player like Lewandosky,Cavani, Suares, Piatek r the suitable forwards in serie A…hope u get the point
