Frederic Massara has spoken about Marco Giampaolo, as the coach was presented to the press today.
The squad of Fidelis Andria in the mid-90’s included two very particular players: Massara and Giampaolo.
Today, they are both at Milan – one in the role of the sporting director and the other in the role of the coach.
“It’s very nice to meet Marco again and above all to meet him again at Milan,” Massara said in today’s press conference, as the ex-Sampdoria coach was presented to the press at Casa Milan.
“Giampaolo and I played football together in the past, he was already a coach of the pitch and he already designed the squad’s geometries. It will be very nice to work together to bring Milan back to where it needs to stay and bring it back to Europe from the front door. We will do it with ambition.”

I’m excited by his words. Can’t wait for the season to start.
