I just watched atalanta and am watching lazio games. Seriously, those teams are very comfortable with the ball, with every pass executed on purpose; They know when to attack, when to slow down the tempo. Theyre no bayern but theyre miles above milan and no one can tell me their squads are better than rino’s. Infamia

Something is just not right with Milan and It’s been going for over three seasons. All players seem uncomfortable with the ball. Our game isn’t fluid, we don’t move the way we were supposed to. Something has changed that we don’t know. Maybe Whoever teaching these players how to move/pass, is doing it wrong. Or the training is so demanding that when they go to the field, they are already drained of their energies? I am speculating, but it’s time to investigate what’s going wrong in the squad training. Players with proper training can’t play the way we are playing… Read more »

Borini again! This guy shouldn’t be starting matches for us. Outside him I have total confidence in others. Forza Milan!

Let’s see if we put this horrible spell behind us; hoping (wishfully thinking?) to see Piatek, Suso, and Hakan explode. Also glad to see Bakayoko is playing and things are sorted with Gatusso.

wow Milan actually played well in the first half when suso doing more cut inside and calhanoglu playing a more central role
why has no one but gattuso ever thought of that? he must be a genius!
glad he realized it so soon and so early of the season and we still have a lot of games left
not to mention milan played with 10 players from the get go

Good first half, probably our best away 45 mins this season. Although, this against one of the weaker sides currently. Kessie and Bakayoko looking wuite good, if only Kessie wouldn’t lose so many balls. The defensive 4 also looking tight. We got 2-3 good chances until which is not bad, but we should still be able to do more against this current Fiorentina.

That attempted shot at the corner of the goal by Kessie was just so frustrating when he had like 4-5 options in the box.
We should have been 2 up by now at least.
But nice playing indeed. Let’s see this through.

For the love of me, he does everything perfectly … except pass (or shoot) the ball.

Why does it feel like when Milan is playing bad and losing there are way too many people are on here?

Nice game so far. Need to score another still though.

We got the 3 points we needed. Now let’s cheer for Chievo to beat Inter. Atalanta deserves to be 3rd and qualify for champions league. Their fans deserve it and they have been brilliant all season and honestly, I’m happy for them.

I would love to see us get 4th place over Inter and send them to the Europa League where they belong. Merda Inter. Forza Milan. Sempre!

It will be more fun if Inter loses their last three matches.
Nice game tonight. Wish Genoa had another goal in them for Atalanta though.
Forza Milan

Be careful cheering for Inter to lose. They will disappoint you and they have the head-to-head ratio ahead of us. So rather cheer for Atalanta to lose. Kind regards *Another Milan Fan*

Good match by the bous, especially the first half. Solid defending by the back 4 throughout, with Bakayoko the mvp in this match. Other than that Suso was good for 20 minutes or so, Hakan looked alive and had a nice goal. Overall, good 25 minutes or so in the second part of the forst half, and solid defending of the result.

Let’s hope Atalanta lose at Juve, and Inter keep screwing up.

Come on Chievo, Do us a favor and get a draw against Inter! If Inter draws tomorrow and loses to Napoli, you’re through. Juve to beat Atlanta is another hope but come on Chievo!!!

Good Result but it’s ok compared to what we are known for recently. Kassie is always playing lacklustre game most of the time because he almost cost us the victory with the ball he lost possession Our second half play was not encouraging as we lost the hunger immediately we scored that goal. A real good team should have beaten this Fiorentina 3 nil. Like I said earlier it’s still better than non at least we have our most needed 3 point so let see what Juventus will do for us next week as I know all milan fans will… Read more »

I have this premonition that Juvetuns will betray us against Atlanta. I completely wish I will be proved wrong .

Juventus have absolutely nothing to play for so I don’t even see any reason for Allegri to use his strongest squad and risk injuries to their top players since they have already won the title.

So it’s more realistic for inter to drop points given that they still have to play Napoli a side coach by a Rossoneri legend. Atalanta is in great form and will most likely qualify for the UCL. It’s Inter that we should expect to slip up.

Agreed Nick, though Juve’s second team can still beat Atalanta, and they might be motivated by the championship celebrations after the match (meaning they won’t want to start them with the bad taste of defeat). And Atalanta can win against any seria a team, but they can also lose to any team (they even lost to us, at home if I’m not mistaking).

Anything can happen in seria a, we just have to wait and see. It’s clearly not entirely up to us at this point.

Yeah, totally. I really hope we can qualify for CL because it will determine our budget base on FFP sanctions. The team look motivated which is a good sign. Let’s see what happens:-)

Milan management should do the next things:
1.Bring Gasperini/Pochettino as coach. Must be one of them.
2.Bring Neres, Hakim zeich from Ayax and Gosens n Ilicic from Atalanta
3.Sell Suso, Conti, Biglia, A Silva, Caldara…….they r useless players….selling them will give us the freedom to buy players like Neres,Hakim zeich,Gosens n Ilicic which will make our team more strong n speedy both in the rt n left wings(back n forward) n most importantly without effecting the FFP….

Chris cross

Realistically speaking why would zeich from ajax come to milan. Almost every team in Europe is after him. If teams like City, United, Barcelona or Madrid or any other team even remotely close to that level approached him we wouldnt be able to financially get into a bidding war with them. Don’t get me wrong he would be perfect for our team but it’s not gonna happen the board would never do something this smart. Rather we are after saint maxim who can dribble the world but at the same time has no pass accuracy and has bad shooting, I’m… Read more »

Dear Sheva, that’s the problem, nobody hear me abt caldara, what will u do with a injured horse???….spending money year after year just like Bonaventura???? come on guys, think smart. ….Ilicic is not a left winger,he is a left footed RB/RH……Why Atalanta is in top 4??? for Gosens n Ilicic superb performance in both wings n they are really physically stronge n they will cost low price…..selling Suso,Conti,Biglia,A Silva will be blessings for Milan…..our central defence, midfield n forward line is ok but we r in lack of pace n quality in both wings, so adding Neres,Hakim,Gosens,Ilicic will do…Calabria n… Read more »

Love how Caldara is vanished from your blacklist in this response. And injured horse will run again sometime soon, still very young. But if we replace him with horse named Mustafi, C. Ronaldo, Dybala, Icardi, Insigne and even ones with lesser quality are going to ye-haw us all season long.

Adding neres and siyach is quality man i don’t know where u come from both r not better than suso specially neres + selling caldara and disrespecting bonuvetura only 6 quality players we got donaruma caldara romagnoli Calabria bonuvetura pientek

Ziyech will go to man city. I am pretty sure pep marked him for future of his team. It would do him good to play under Pep. As for Neres, I am not sure if he is an upgrade from Casti. Casti is far better than Neres. Our problems aren’t players. Our problem is lack of tactics, good manager and maybe quality coaching staff as well.

My concern remains with our strikers. It’s not the question of quality of our forwards but the service they get. It is non existing

Piatek is isolated up front, so is Cutrone and Silva before etc. This was also a problem before Rino’s time

No matter who we put forward if there’s no proper service and we cannot say “we don’t have any creative players on team” which was the issue few seasons ago

nick
Guest
nick

We have no tactical gameplan to provide our strikers any good service. Our left side is weak. All of our attack comes from the right. The 433 formation is also killing our strikers productivity. We were better with Deulofeu on the left and Suso on the right. That’s the only way a 433 formation can work. Borini is not the solution to our left side. It’s so bizarre we didn’t sign Deulofeu I’m speechless. Don’t even know why Gattuso is so scared to play a 4312 especially since he won many titles playing in that formation as well the Christmas… Read more »

I would love Gasperini at Milan. He’s so good with young players just imagine what he can do with QUALITY young players? Milan need a serious midfield and wingback upgrade. Players like Calhanoglu, Borini, Laxalt, Biglia, Castellijo, Montolivo, Mauri, Strinic, and Bertolacci all need to leave. We can keep Bakayoko, Suso and Kessié but we need to upgrade both Suso and Kessié in my opinion. Our midfield is lacking creativity and goals in the final third. Players like Chiesa, Zaniolo, Everton Soares, James Rodriguez, Depay, David Neres and Tonali are the type of players Milan should target next summer if… Read more »

I agree with this. A 4312 or even a 352 would allow suso to play more inside and combine with paqueta and bona when he gets back. They would be able to give better service to both cutro and piatek

Nathan graegin we can’t play 4312 paquata isn’t fast player like ru Costa or kaka to play trequarista or number 10

Can anyone remember when was the last time we saw a proper through-ball from our midfield to our striker that turned into a chance? I simply can’t remember even One through ball that is memorable from our team. NO-ONE in this squad even dares to try a through-pass/through-cross to create a chance. It’s either because of the lack of ability, or confidence, or the tactics or the strict order of the manager to not try those. Do we have players with such abilities? We do. Hakan, Paqueta and Suso are good distributor of the ball, Biglia and Baka is good… Read more »
