We need to sell Cutrone and cash in. He does not posses the quality Milan requires, runs about looking over-weight and clumsy.

Sell Suso, again very good technical player but lacks that AGRESSION of Costa, Vincinus Jr etc. We need agressive right footed wingers that can explode anytime

Yes i see something different in milan but we need more depth and quality. Kessie final third is just SHOCKING cash in or invest not quite sure on this one

Why do you sound like Interista or Juventino.

Selling Cutrone would be biggest mistake since Aubameyang.
Suso on other hand maybe, depends on offer we receive.
Rather sell Suso than Kessie.

Absolutely crazy comment. Cutrone’s the best young forward in Europe

Thank god you are not in Leo’s position. Unless you could bring a 70m+ offer, selling Cutrone is suicidal. Kessie similar. Suso – even though I would be much more tempted – also. Do you have any idea how much it would cost to find better players in todays market? Or you think that the market is full of Piateks kai Paquetas that only us can discover and that players like them will flourish immediately.

That feeling when you realise that calabria isnt selected,Suso is benched, and Biglia and caldara are still recovering from injury and the team still gets results…MILAN HAVE DEPTH!!!! Finally. Given that almost all our players are yet to reach their full potential, 1 more LW can really mean challanging Juventus next season

Prat

Before making the declaration that Milan has got depth, you should remember that the game was against a side which is on relegation borderline. I’m not saying Milan is not playing good. I like how we are running on ground and the fact that we have a real deadly striker now. I still think that we could sell Suso and get someone like Chiesa. If you saw Fiorentina’s game against Inter, you would fall in love with that guy. Plays with full commitment and quality. Whereas regarding Suso, lately I’ve come to notice that he tries to be a little… Read more »

The team played well and I will vote castillejo as MoTM…..all the players played well yesterday and most importantly the agility and aggression they showed was classic….this means Milan have chance to even finish third at end of the season

Good work Meytar Zeevi for upgrading this site but we need to have a platform for uploading pictures and videos. Merci beaucoup!!!!

Martin Bernhard

I agree on Castillejo but in regard of posting videos and Pictures not really. It might be a fun little addition for a little while but just look at for example milan eye its pretty much the same gifs people keep posting when they really doesnt have anything themselfs to say. Besides of that it would propably also be used frequently to troll the sites users as well. Frankly i think its nice that this blog hasnt turned into a freaking meme and # site, if people has something to say words should suffice.

Shackur

That’s very true though Martin…I will succumb to your vital point. words and links to videos or pics should suffice not to junk up this platform by irrelevant stuffs.

In general, Gattuso has managed to raise the team to a higher level. Piatek and Paqueta gave exactly what was missing. Especially Piatek. The realization of the beginning of the year was very bad. I am extremely pleased with the defensive gameplay and the team’s defensive players. Of course there’s still something missing. Gattuso keeps talking about the wingman, but I think we’re short on creativity in midline

soga

Who else is starting to get annoyed by gattuso and the fact that he takes piatek out on 60th-65th min every game … its annoying.

shushu

He only replaced them when we already on the lead by 2-3 goal margin, nothing wrong with that and by giving some playing time for Cutrone and such can also maintain their form and happiness and that was important for the squad harmony imo. And do remember a team is far more great than an individual glory like some people suggesting that Piatek could get himself a golden boot if Gattuso not replacing so often.

ChrisRossoneri
Guest
ChrisRossoneri

When we have 2-3 goals margin he could try to sub and someone else like calha and try to play them both or cutro in a wider role imo and not just in piatek’s place

Milanista121
Guest
Milanista121

@soga, how would you feel if Piatek would get an injury when we have a two-three goal lead already? I’m sure you would be complaining of the opposite then “why won’t Rino rest Piatek when we have a two-three goal lead”. Jesus Christ man, how can people be annoyed by this… Especially when we’re already in a secure lead!? Have no words

Raven

12 wins 13 bad results that’s why Gattuso doesn’t want any praise, we need to continue with the good results. The worst part of the season is over, morale is high and tactics are working, Suso and Cutrone must have a better attitude and be happy for the team and forget their ego.

nick
Guest
nick

Exactly. Gattuso mentioned in his post match press conference that certain players wasn’t happy about not playing. This is why Gattuso is constantly subbing Piatek early as soon he scores a goal just to give Cutrone more minutes.

If the team comes first as some people mentioned then Cutrone needs to fix his attitude and humble himself and be patient and wait his turn.

He hasn’t accomplished anything big yet to prove himself worthy of more game time over Piatek.

I’m old enough to remember the glory days of Milan, and this team is not there YET! But we’re all old enough to remember the heartbreak of recent years…It’s sooooo nice not to be horribly disappointed after games like yesterday which was happening as recent as December…Hope the team can maintain this form and add some more CL quality players next transfer window…Forza Milan.

What a great win. Seriously, I feel more comfortable watching the team play with no signs of nervousness or whatnot at my end. Great going Gattuso! But really, the fixed early subbing of Piatek is becoming one too many and a bit irritating. How many times we’ve had to watch Piatek subbed off whenever he starts? I guess 4 to 5 times ever since he joined the team. I don’t remember seeing Higuian getting subbed off early when was with us. If the subbings are based on tactical reasons( which I think are not), and not to appease Cutrone, then Gattuso… Read more »

Calma, it’s helping his goal per minute ratio lmao.
Plus it was Leo who said the players must earn number 9. Gattuso is giving some opportunity to Cutrone. Piatek was not a proven sticker like Higuain who came into the team demanding a crucial starting position.

I hope this mediocre (at most) player Cutrone is not going to start disturbing the team’s atmosphere. We had a prima donna in Higuain and that showed how much the team was affected but to take of Piatek Pum Pum instead of letting him score more and build up his morale even more we are wasting time with this Cutrone. We need serious devoted players not divas!! Look at Bakayoko, he’s been criticised he worked harder and now he’s one of the best in the team!! That’s a valuable player not k e with tantrums. Why should somebody talking bad Cutrone. The guy was there for us in our trying times. Why should somebody even conceive the idea that we should sell him ? Is it because Piatek is doing fantastic now and cutrone has now become a bad guy .c,mon ! This is not fair. the guy is a true Milan fan and we should encourage him. Suggesting that we should sell crutrone is cruel and barbaric.

He’s just having a “slump”, if you can call it that. My only criticism of him is, and this might be fictional but, I think he lost the challenger mentality which was one of his best qualities. He always had venom and energy off the bench but recently it’s not showing. Again maybe a slump. Wouldn’t sell.

Piątek has almost tallied as many serie a goala as Higuain did for Milan this season. His form has been unreal and the moral he has brought to the team is amazing. He will eventually cool off, I just hope the team keeps the winning mentality it has possessed in the last few games.

Hi everyone what do you think about Everton LW 22 y/o from Gremio ( would cost 20-30 mil ) . And as RW Pedrinho 20 y/o ( would cost probably 15-20 mil) from Sport Club Corinthians Paulista?

As for me we have good defence and sort of not bad midfield maybe Rabiot would be nice . But in attack I really don’t see any goods with the Turk and Suso we would probably get like 70-80 mil for both of them .

Anyways it’s just my thoughts.

Nice to see the remain consistent especially as regards results. To conceive selling Cutrone is the height of ingratitude given what he has given to the team and considering the minutes he has played. So far he has not disappointed and he has huge potentials. Having said that, if the feelers that he is not happy because he is not playing regularly is true, then he is really the problem and should be given what he deserves. It is understandable that Gattuso subs Pietek to appreciate Cutrone for what he represents to the team but if he is not happy… Read more »

Just some facts: Cutrone 31 games 9 goals Piatek 6 games 7 goals and below is the golden boot race table. Meanwhile we take off Piatek in the 50 something minute not allowing him to further his stats. I hear fans saying he carried us!! Yeah, Milan was 8-9th back then now we are 4th. 9 goals in 31 matches this season is hardly carrying us on his back is it? Piatek shows how it’s done. I don’t understand why some of you are making an issue about Piatek being subbed out for Cutrone to get some minutes. Before Piatek came along Cutrone had to be our saviour on a few occasions, so there is no need to think that all of a sudden he has become useless or a liability as some people on this blog are so eagerly willing to suggest. By now, some of you like myself would have noticed what seems like a slight change in attitudes of both Cutrone and Suso. I have come to the conclusion that this is because… Read more »

It’s like no matter how well we perform gattuso always finds away to anoy us fans by constantly subbing off piatek the moment the clock hits 60min. It needs to stop. For godsake you a player who is arguably the best scorer in the league and has without a shadow of a doubt earned every minute of his playing time whilst he’s gets an early sub for cutrone who with all do respect has not earned his minutes. I don’t think that Silva is going to return as a 3d choice. He recently told that he would like to come back only if he gets many minutes as a starter.

Andre Silva proved he’s just not good enough for Serie A last season. Just because he’s cutting up la Liga (rubbish league) and scored a fortuitous (albeit crucial, I will admit) 94th minute header against the mighty Genoa last season, people somehow think he should be afforded more chances. In contrast, Patrick Cutrone has bailed us out against all sorts of teams in all sorts of conditions, both as starter and impact sub. I’ve said it before, and I remain steadfast in suggesting Cutrone is the best young player in Europe. Indispensable.

ACM4Life

Cutrone is definetly talented and saved us many times.
However, if he starts acting like primadona and thinks he is bigger than coach/team, then he has to go, regardless of potential he has.
Balotelli was talented at his age and considered one of the best young forwards before, but atittude destroyed his career.

One thing i most loved about Sir Alex Ferguson was if player thought he is above coach, team and club, he would be sold.
Thats what happened to Beckham and Van Nistelrooy, who were stars and starters.

Let’s hope Gattuso gets some sense into Cutrone’s head as i don’t want we loose him.

The kid had 7 starts and came on as a sub 17 times for a grand total of 922 minutes and you really want to believe that he has proven to be no good in Serie A? In regards to your comment about La liga being rubbish, that is your opinion but you can’t negate the fact that he has done well there this season. It’s quite similar to what ALL fans think of Bakayoko; the opinion that he’s proven himself to be a flop in the best league in the world and has gone on to play well in… Read more »

I don’t see why he should be 3rd choice with the quality he possesses as a striker, plus he would be coming back after a decent season on loan. Champions league football would almost certainly guarantee that he gets the necessary starts he needs to keep him happy. Rotation of players next term will be very important in order for players to be healthy physically as well as mentally throughout the entire season. I also think that Gattuso has to adopt another formation next season that will allow him to utilize two strikers at the same time. My choice of… Read more »

The kid had a total of 922 minutes from 7 starts and 17 substitutions with a return of 2 goals. Cutrone has 1068 minutes from 10 starts and 13 substitutions under his belt so far this season, and has given a return of 3 goals and 2 assists. I hope you get my point.

A player feeling less important because our attack doesn’t revolve around him should tell you that player is very limited (Has less room to improve). Piatek is way ahead of Cutrone and I don’t see Cutro being our first choice anytime Piatek is available and in crucial matches as well.

Bajan Milanatic

I agree that Piatek is ahead of Cutrone, and rightfully so. His stats justifies his ascent to the starting striker role, but how does a player because he’s feeling less important to the club make him limited, with less room to improve?

“From the match against Parma, Milan have played 15 official matches in Italian competitions (between Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa) and have conceded only 6 goals (Inglese, Chiesa, Petagna, Ronaldo, Zaniolo, Freuler). This record goes also hand in hand with that of the defeats the Rossoneri have suffered in the league. Since the start of the season, Milan have lost 4 matches in the Italian top flight. Only Juventus (0), Liverpool (1), PSG (1), Dortmund (1), Barcelona (2), Napoli (3) and Atletico Madrid (3) have done better.” Pff Lucky guy, lucky season, clueless coach, he was given… Read more »

We won but that was far from a dominant performance like most of you here seem to suggest. In fact 1st we got pressed too much at times and we couldn’t connect passes. For me overall it was not a convincing performance n we got great results which is a plus. we played much better towards the end of second half. I was happy Suso was not playing and Castillejo provided what we need on the right wing only if he can play more. Lastly Gattuso shouls stop subbing Piatek early. Agreed with hating the draw mentality, but it makes sense from Gattusos point of view. But, you do realize that calhanoglu was waiting for news concerning the birth of his daughter? Would you be focused in a match under those circumstances? It seems to me that you are just hating on him, and I have noticed, (and he said so in an interview) that the negativity from the fans is affecting him. The return game will be played on 24th of April therefore I believe Rino deployed a mixed squad with a mission not to conceide a goal.

It was on purpose taking into consideration that between last night and 24th April is a long time where Milan must give their all to cement their spot in 4th or 3rd place in Serie A

So it’s being reported that Cutrone is unhappy with not getting enough playing time since Piatek arrived and he is asking to leave as early as this summer.

Milan have set a 30mil price tag on Cutrone which most likely means he will leave this summer.

So this issue with subbing Piatek early had nothing to do with resting Piatek. This was all about Cutrone acting up.

If any player wants to leave Milan I will be the first volunteer to escort them out. He’s not on Piatek level and there are better strikers like Timo Werner and Luka Jovic.

Craig
Guest

Honestly I liked cutrone allot but if he is acting like this then he can go. What does he expect gattuso to do really. Does he want piatek to be on bench and cutrone gonna play 90min? Can anyone explain that.

Mathijs Savicevic

Mathijs Savicevic

I always thought that Cutrone was a heart Milanista. Well, if you are in his shoes, and would be a real Milanista, you would say amen to Piatek.

You would be happy to be a part of the team Milan.

So now, sell the guy. And Suso.

Craig

I don’t think selling suso is a god idea only because how effective he is against trams that like to sit back and defend. Those crosses andd shots he puts in are very good.

But when it comes to teams that want to play against us like lazio in the last match then he’s Better coming off the bench

Conclusion, keep suso but buy an upgrade on the position and use suso sparingly against stubbern defensive teams.
