Luca Lucci went on Instagram to express his displeasure from Milan’s performance in the derby: ‘There are no excuses’.

Milan lost 1-0 to Inter last night due to a 92′ minute goal from Mauro Icardi. It was scored very late in the game but the Rossoneri were defending and not trying to attack with numbers for most of the encounter at Stadio San Siro.

Many fans have gone on social media and different websites to express their irritation and frustration over the result and over how the squad of Rino Gattuso played. Curva Sud leader, Luca Lucci, did the same.

“The derby is played, you fight, you battle, you spit blood, and then maybe you can even lose!” Lucci wrote on his Instagram account (@lucci_luca) on Monday afternoon. “Yesterday, nothing!!! Shame on everyone!!! From those who get on the pitch to those who put them on the field, to those who allow you all to have this mindset in games like that! There are no excuses!!

“Have respect for the fans, all of those who days before don’t sleep because of the tension, all those who make choreography to give you drive and sing for 90 minutes, and today are literally speechless! Because all of those who love Milan will always do it regardless!

“‘Milanismo’ is missing, but we are probably asking for values that are just dreams these days!” The Curva hasn’t released any official statement, but in the latest one showed support for Gattuso.

The players did what they were TOLD to do, not by each other but by there manager There’s nobody more at blame for that embarrassment than Gattuso If we went out and tried to win but got beaten by a better team I could except that because at least they tried Last night was something entirely different, every player in a Rossoneri shirt last night had an exact plan to execute and that plan was to not get beaten rather than try win, why else would Suso do more defending than attacking? Has anyone ever seen Suso defend before? No… Read more »

Yes, Gatusso’s main directives –
1. Be afraid to make quick passes.
2. Jack and Hakan you should disappear.
3. Allow Inter to reach our box easily, and then allow at least 3-4 unmarked shots from the box.
4. Donna look insecure as much as possible, and reflect it on your backline.
5. Press on their half like your doing it half heartedly.

Luca Lucci, I appreciate ur courage and u are very right with ur points. Honestly we must tell ourselves the truth even if it’s bitter. Milan players were too lazy and afraid to attack. What is the problem with our players? Where’s is the spirit of old milan? Must we the lions be afraid of Antelopes in the jungle of soccer? Anytime we play a smaller club and they put us under pressure surely we must concede and play draw, of it’s a big club we must lose the game. Can someone tell me what’s going on Why are our… Read more »

The simple truth is that Milan Jersey is too heavy on these guys. Most our so call professional are average players. So the confidence is not there. It will take time before we get back to glory. Out of our current players, the ones I can say are worth of Milan standard are Higuain, Crutone and maybe suso and Romagnoli. Other remaining ones are just players of circumstances. I just pray we can finalize the purchase of Paqueta and few other standard players.

Comment:We can all blame Gattuso all we want but we should not ignore the attitude of some of our players too. Our team lack that killer instinct.
And talking about Donnaruma I’m not ashamed to say that boy is a fraud big one for that matter. judging from last season that guy has caused us more game point than any goalkeeper I can remember in history of Milan.
Gattuso need to do something about Donnaruma before he chased him out of Milan’s bench. it really sad watching my Milan degenerated to this level am so sad…

Too many football experts in this blog, how about they suck Gattuso and bring all of you expercts that want Gatuso sacked to replace him, wonder how good will you do? This is real liefe football it takes months and years to create a team, not Fifa or Football Manager, wake the hell up to reality, how many players are in the team that are bought by Gattuso and how many of them are first team regullar, none because it takes time to adapt the team, btw im not deffending Gattuso but how do you think will players react when… Read more »

Ive always liked Gattuso as a player and as a person but he just doesn’t have the experience to coach a team like Milan. Sempre Forza Milan!
