Since bakayoko is supposed to be the vice kessie I felt the need to compare them. I only needed 90 minutes to see the huge difference. Bakayoko tries to beat his man with trickery whereas kessie really knows how to use his body to power through/past defenders. I hope to see gattuso coach bakayoko to use his large frame better than he has shown so far. He seems uncoordinated at times and tries to be too technical. I’d like to see a lot more power and drive from bakayoko.

Is it a tactical choice or fitness issue, I don’t know. Bakayoko is utterly useless. Can’t play with the ball, can’t play with out it. The worst thing is that he doesn’t show the… Read more »

The team didn’t park the bus after going up 3-1. They were constantly pushing forward till the end. This is a welcome change.

Very good win, I was pained seeing that Hakan’s shot hit the bar…. I sure hope now that Gattuso learnt something very important from this match, something we’ve been saying since last season. Stop the f**ing wing play, it’s too predictable, deploy Hakan behind two strikers. Simple as ABC. Gattuso was flexible last night despite being a goal behind and see how it turned out? That’s all we ask from you, stop being stubborn, when you see something ain’t working, try something different, don’t wait until you drop several points before you try something different, something that actually works, enough… Read more »

Bakayoko as vice Kessie? From what I saw in this couple of matches he’s more a vice Bertolacci

Two striker formation with Hakan in no. 10 is working but there’s no cover for the two hitmens. Castillejo could also be deployed behind strikers as Hakan understudy
