  1. Since bakayoko is supposed to be the vice kessie I felt the need to compare them. I only needed 90 minutes to see the huge difference. Bakayoko tries to beat his man with trickery whereas kessie really knows how to use his body to power through/past defenders. I hope to see gattuso coach bakayoko to use his large frame better than he has shown so far. He seems uncoordinated at times and tries to be too technical. I’d like to see a lot more power and drive from bakayoko.

  2. Good to get the three points.

    My observations

Our build up play is too predictable and mostly horizontal from one side to the other, till we can get a cross in. The result is that we have a lot of possession but don’t really look threatening.
We need to be more direct, fast and vertical. We are more dangerous that way.

Our pressing is not aggressive. Is it a tactical choice or fitness issue, I don’t know.

Bakayoko is utterly useless. Can’t play with the ball, can’t play with out it. The worst thing is that he doesn’t show the desire to challenge for the ball.

We need three additions to the squad.

Striker, Lt winger and a versatile midfielder.
My picks- bellotti, chiesa and barella. All three have serie a experience and would be willing to come without UCL.

    Forza Milan

  3. Very good win, I was pained seeing that Hakan’s shot hit the bar…. I sure hope now that Gattuso learnt something very important from this match, something we’ve been saying since last season. Stop the f**ing wing play, it’s too predictable, deploy Hakan behind two strikers. Simple as ABC. Gattuso was flexible last night despite being a goal behind and see how it turned out? That’s all we ask from you, stop being stubborn, when you see something ain’t working, try something different, don’t wait until you drop several points before you try something different, something that actually works, enough of the 433… On to the next one with optimism..

The substitutions proved to be decisive for Gattuso.
For better or for worse some matches of the Rossoneri this season decided by substitutions.
Tonight the entry of Calhanoglu & Cutrone were providential, giving a shake up and overwhelmed Olympiacos in 9 minutes.

  4. Bakayoko as vice Kessie? From what I saw in this couple of matches he’s more a vice Bertolacci

Two striker formation with Hakan in no. 10 is working but there’s no cover for the two hitmens. Castillejo could also be deployed behind strikers as Hakan understudy
