André Silva has decided on his new jersey number: 69.
Gonzalo Higuain was announced as the new striker of Milan on Thursday and it was also confirmed that he will be wearing the #9 jersey for the Rossoneri.
The jersey was already owned by Silva, but Leonardo called André to ask him to give up on the number; the Portuguese showed openness and understanding, and agreed to give it to Pipita.
And this evening it was revealed by Milannews.it (and confirmed by MilanTV director Mauro Suma on Twitter) that the 22-year-old has decided that his new jersey number will be #69. He will be wearing a jersey with this number tonight should he take the field against Barcelona (02:05 CEST kickoff).
The #7 jersey may be available soon as Kalinić is expected to leave, but Silva, whose own future remains uncertain has decided to go with #69. Please try to keep the gross jokes to a minimum.
