After the home and away kit, Milan have also revealed the new third kit.
Last month the new home and away kits for the 2018/19 season were unveiled and today, the club revealed their third kit, and they chose 5 youngsters and pillars of the new Rossoneri to model it: Davide Calabria, Franck Kessié, Patrick Cutrone, Alessio Romagnoli and Manuel Locatelli.
As written on acmilan.com: “Featuring a round neck collar with a distinctly modern feel, the third kit comes in the black that has been seen on alternate kits of the club since 1936. Other unique details include the ‘Diavolo Rossonero’ (The Red and Black Devil) on the back of the neck and a red and black heather effect on the sleeves. The shirt will be accompanied by red and black heather shorts and black socks with a red band on the trim and ACM lettering detail. In the words of founder Herbert Kilpin, we wear black because it signifies: ‘The fear we will strike in the hearts of our opponents.'”
The new kits were revealed at a PUMA event at 87 Capp Street wall in San Francisco, California. The kit was brought to life through a mural display on the popular hot spot for artists in the area. Artist Sam Flores’s work came to life throughout the day to reveal the team in the new third kit.
The shirt will be on-sale from the 3rd of August at PUMA official Stores, PUMA e-commerce, AC Milan Official Stores (Casa Milan Store, Milan Store, and San Siro Store) and store.acmilan.com.
