Suso believes Milan deserved the win against Genoa and focuses only on the next match against Arsenal.

Milan were struggling for 94 minutes against Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris last night, but one moment changed everything for the Rossoneri as in the last second of the game, Suso’s cross got to the head of André Silva, who gave the Diavolo three extremely important points.

While it was Silva’s first Serie A goal this season, it was Suso’s 8th assist in the league and he proved again that also when he’s not dominating for the entire match, he can be the difference maker for Gennaro Gattuso’s side. Milan will need a strong Suso on Thursday when they face Arsenal in the Europa League and it’s a match on which you can bet on

“We tried to win until the last second, we tried the whole game and the result is deserved,” Suso told Sky Italia at the end of the match against his former side. “We knew that Lazio had drawn, and Sampdoria lost so it was a very important match. “André Silva? He is adapting to a very different kind of football, he needs some time and he also needs to play. He scored the goal, good for him.

“The Champions League [Milan are currently in 6th place, 6 points below Lazio who are fourth]? We have to take it match by match, we have to win them all. Now we’ll be thinking of Arsenal.”

He can be annoying sometimes but it’s incredible how he can decide matches even when he is not on top form like now. I just hope he gets back to the level he was playing last season and the beginning of this season.
