Antonio Donnarumma was pleased with the win over Ludogorets and dedicated the victory to his son.
Gattuso gave rest to many of key players last night and so Gigio Donnarumma was sitting on the bench as his brother Antonio completed the 90 minutes.
It was Antonio’s second-ever Milan appearance and for the second time he managed to get the clean sheet as the Rossoneri won 1-0 (4-0 on aggregate) to qualify for the Round of 16 of the EL.
“In these type of matches you must be focused at all times. Milan are known to allow only a few opportunities to their rivals so when it happens you have to be ready to respond,” the goalkeeper, who arrived from Asteras Tripolis in the summer, told MilanTV after the final whistle.
“We prepared well for the game and we wanted to score to secure the qualification, we succeeded. Roma? It will be a very important game on Sunday, we will prepare for it in the best way, but we are confident we can win. The next EL opponents? We focus on every game, for us they’re equal.
“Dedications? I dedicate this win to my son, my girlfriend and my family.”
