Gabriel Paletta’s agent believes it’ll be easy for his client to find a new team, despite playing just once this season.
Paletta was a key player in Vincenzo Montella’s defense last season but after the arrivals of Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus and Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal, the center back found no space.
Paletta played all of his matches this season under Gennaro Gattuso, but only one of them was with the first team, in the 2-0 loss away at Rijeka. Despite all this, his agent is confident finding a new team won’t be an issue.
“We have great respect for Milan and the future will be decided only after a discussion with the current ownership,” agent Martin Guastadisegno told Tuttomercatoweb.com on Wednesday about the 31-year-old. “If the club gives the OK, it’ll take Gabriel a minute to find a team.”
Paletta was close to joining Lazio in the summer with the Biancocelesti agreeing to pay €2.5m for him, but the move ultimately broke down on deadline day. He’ll be on the bench today against Inter.
