Luca Antonelli says ‘we all have to do extra’ in order to get out of this hole.

Milan played 5 decent teams in Serie A this season, and they lost 5 times: 4-1 against Lazio, 2-0 against Sampdoria and Roma, 3-2 against Inter and 2-0 against Juventus. 13 goals conceded, 3 scored.

The Rossoneri are not in the same league as the big sides in Serie A and at this point it would almost take a miracle for them to be able to finish in the Top 4. In any case, fullback Antonelli is now looking forward to the next matches, on which you can bet and get a codice promo eurobet.

“We started out great, we took a risk and then we were punished by two great plays from a great champion,” Antonelli said to a MilanTV reporter at the end of the match at San Siro last night. “Before that, the match was levelled. Kalinić’s strike that hit the crossbar could have changed the whole game, but if Juventus have won the Scudetto for 6 straight seasons then there’s a reason to it.

“I repeat, we played well against one of the strongest sides, now the recipe is working well until the end. My physical condition? I am fully fit and I happy to be back, although I’m not content with the result. The next matches? We want to go to Athens to win, they proved here they’re a great team.”

Antonelli, whose previous Serie A appearance was on August 27, also spoke to Sky Italia: “We had a good start and had a chance to score. Higuain ‘invented’ two goals, then with Juventus it’s always difficult to recover. We know that we have to win some of the direct clashes, we haven’t won one yet.

“On Thursday we expect a difficult trip to Athens, we want to close or almost close the qualification. Then we travel to Sassuolo, a difficult pitch, but we have to win the three points. We all have to do extra, we have to get out of this situation because the standings is not what we were expecting.”

In the mixed-zone, the 30-year-old ex-Genoa man said: “Higuain got two goals of top class. We started better, we could’ve taken advantage through Kalinić but then Higuain ‘invented’ that goal. We had another chance with Nikola’s crossbar but recovering against Juventus is always difficult.

“I don’t think that there are problems, we work a lot to do better, now the two games before the international break are crucial. The standings [Milan are 12 points behind Juventus, who are currently 1st]? We just have to try to do more and do better. Crisis? There is no crisis, we will always give our best, we are still calm, also on Saturday we proved to be able to play as almost equals to Juventus.”

It’s clear that this situation cannot continue, and Milan have to string some wins together and be a better side if they wish to accomplish anything. The first step would be beating AEK Athens.

Same old same old. Milan is absolutely disgusting, plain and simple.

We were hoping that juventus Game will be a turning point for us but it turned out to be another nightmare. Pls enough of this wait.. We need a change Manager. Montella has lost Clue of everything and he will never recover from it again except he goes. The more we wait, down the table we go.

The fassobelli duo is worser then Montella.

We thought the dark days were over, but We are going deeper down than we thought possible. I still can’t believe we let the pharaoh el Sha go to Roma Montella should have been sacked second half of last season, I could see than that he had no idea, and we were lucky to make Europa league last season. Montella was never the man to lead this revolution. He has limited experience with mediocre sides and has never won anything. Now we let him choose the players he likes, to build a new team . Big mistake & I could see… Read more »
