Jose Sosa said ‘no’ to Trabzonspor several times over the summer, but he finally told them ‘yes’ in time to complete a move on the Turkish deadline day.

Trabzonspor pressed hard to get Jose Sosa all summer and after getting rejected on a few occasions, including last week, they went ahead and raised their offer to the player, who finally agreed to join them.

The Turkish side, who had to wait until their Deadline Day to announce the player, confirmed that Sosa is joining from Milan on a loan with option to buy. Trabzonspor will be paying €1.35 million for the loan, while their option, which is perhaps more of a formality, is for €3.4 million to be triggered by January 15, 2018, seeing as the contract of Sosa with Milan was due to end in June 2018.

He’s expected to earn €5-6m a year at Trabzonspor. Sosa, 32, was signed by Milan from Beşiktaş for €7m last summer but suffered from the fact that Montella did not use a formation with an attacking midfielder, so he had to adjust and adapt to the regista role, which he had never played before.

Sosa underwent the medical and signed the contract today and he is joining Juraj Kucka in Turkey, as the player was sold to Trabzonspor for a reported €5m. The Milan mercato is now truly over.

Again only option to buy … looks like a great deal for Sosa, but I’m not sure it’s so great for us.

Lmao. Milan tradition..buy the trashcans in every team for millions.. and then struggle to sell them. Option to buy… lmao.

Borini kalinic will also be a problem to sell. Both will be loaned out with option to buy with a box of chocolate. Why are they bought in the first Place? Let the clueless Milan fans here defend that part.

Montella is not coaching milan next year

I’m never a fan of buying a player a coach doesn’t need. could Sosa had been good as an attacking midfielder? We’d never know. Buying a player whose position isn’t even on the team’s formation board makes 0 sense. Doesn’t matter how good he his, he will struggle.

Hakan is one player I hope wouldn’t go the same part of Jose Sosa as he doesn’t seen to know where he fits in the team.

Comment:why don’t we play with a two striker and play suso behind the strikers… giving him a free position..
I believe suso is similar to Isco if given a free role
