Milan want the experienced midfielder but there are big differences between their offer and Lazio’s demand.

It’s no secret that the Rossoneri are interested in signing Lazio captain Biglia, but it seems that the road is still long.

As reported by MilanTV on Wednesday, at the moment there are big differences between the Diavolo’s valuation of the Argentine and that of the Rome club.

Sky Italia suggests that Lazio want over €20 million for Biglia, but Milan’s intention is to not go above €13-15m, seeing as his contract expires next year and he’ll be free in 2018. There are daily contacts between all the parties but both Lazio President Claudio Lotito and Milan’s Marco Fassone & Massimiliano Mirabelli are firm in their stances.

A different report, from Premium Sport, suggests that Milan are willing to offer €15m plus Riccardo Montolivo but in any case, it’s unlikely Lotito accepts anything but cash. Sky reporter Pepe Di Stefano claims that in his opinion a solution for this difference in valuation can be found in the middle.

Krychowiak of PSG is said to be Biglia’s alternative. There could also soon come news about Conti as his agent will meet Atalanta today in attempt to find an agreement to send Andrea to Milanello.

Biglia is an xperienced player but d demand from Lazio is too much…we should look for an alternative.

Klum

15 Million is quite generous for Biglia who will be 32 January next year. He has probably passed him prime after the age of 31. Maybe last season was his final best. Plus he will be free to join Milan next season. Forget him, I believe Lazio won’t do better than Milan even with Biglia next season. I say invest that 15 Million in a young and bright talent or loan PSG’s Gregory for 5 Million. Mario Götze on loan would be great as a winger and Jack Wilshere for DM or LM is also worth given a try. If… Read more »

Goetze? He’s been suffering from metabolism disorder that attacks his muscles since early 2017. Wilshere, like many arsenal’s ex-youngters, has failed to live up to expectations. Balotelli sums it up perfectly, “who’s jack wilshere?”
No way milan should target any of them

SOWBIZ

ur comment made sense till the third line, loan gregory and GOTZE(really?) and jack wilshere is not the upgrade we need at this point. u urself put it well when u said “if their spells work out fine”. we r under too much pressure to make top 4 nxt season or even challenge for scudetto. theres no time for ifs or for people “worth given a try”. we have to get it right immediately.

WhereIsTheSpirit

Yes, Biglia might be good in terms of experience and leadership. But the trading might be a bad investment due to his age (causing rapid depreciation LOL).
I suggest to check on Leipzig central midfielder all rounder, Naby Keita. His statistics is amazing. On par level with N’golo Kante with plus point : Keita loves to dribble the ball.

Kaka Milan

Comment:forget abt bigla though he is good, we just need fabregas n james Rodriguez for our creativity. if James won’t come though his agent offers him to Milan, go all for pastore pls.

Gio

I heard that Milan made a formal offer for James of 60 millions and Florentino Perez seems to be agree with the transfer… Anyway I am crossing fingers to see this will come true.

Kaka Milan

Comment: also we don’t need kalinic of a sort. bacca to Marseille is almost done, so pls mirabelli go for kun aguero. kun aguero partnerships with Silva will take serie A by storm next season.

Milano

You obviously don’t know Milan history and the type of player that fits milans profile .your just bring up names linking us to non Milan profile names .. forget about Aguero and fabrigras man.. talk about a Neymar type for a creative midfielder and a belotti or a ibrahimovic type to partner Silvia . Now those are Milan profile type of players, fyi . I have great excitement about this silver dude, he reminds me of shevshenko and needs and inzaghi type like belotti to partner upfront.

dodoz

Milano you have not made any sense

Hahah

But i think chelsea would accept 20mil for fabregas….. And we can get paredes of roma for that same amount…. 20mil is way too much…. Serie a clubs always want more money from milan… If it were juventus now or a foriegn club tgis deal would av been concluded for 12mil….please if we have real been offered James.. Please take it with open arms… Another world cup is around the corner and something tells me his value is going to sky rocket…..we need a winger. .. Replacement for suso

Manga la figa

He’s good and will be a calm, strong influence in the middle of the field. Something we’ve been missing since Pilo but at 20mil and at 31 that’s a bit much.

Chuky

Please let’s get this Guy who’s a fine dribbler at just 20 Yefersson Soteldo this Guy is the new Messi. He’s Venezuelan and plays for a Chilean club.

Suracho

“He’s Venezuelan and plays for a Chilean club”
We will talk when he manages to find a serie b team.

Gio

Or when porto buy him, first he probably goes to Portugal, they excel at doing business. Always buy young players for +/- 10 millions and sell them for +40 millions. Best eye for young talents ever!!!

SuMa

Seen him in World cup final. Very Good Player… Milan should keep an eye on him, but still not first team material.

Donremie

How can we buy biglia for 20m? How can we give montolivo to Lazio n replace him with biglia? Something is wrong with fassobelli, Milan shld have an Italian core, go for conti, Pellegrini, Bernaeschi n some other Italian talents, it’s wrong to lose focus on d Milan basis…. We are not shinter please. Whilst I appreciate ur intention to strengthen, it shld be done with d Milan philosophy not just random purchases… Fassobelli couldn’t even manage to renew dollaruma…Please don’t use shinter style…Milan remains Milan

rosso138

Galliani? is that you?

sas

sometimes I get surprise at some comments, u saying something is wrong with fassobelli is not right this guys r working their ass out to ensure a better Milan and what I expect from u is a little appreciation and suggestions, monto is going nowhere its just a paper suggestion

Agni

20 mil is too much for biglia at 31 years.
Forget him.
Focus on someone younger like kovacic, he can have an instant impact and also provide a long term solution.
I like the fact that fasobelli hold their ground and if asking price is unreasonable then they look elsewhere instead of buying bertolacci for 20 mil and making a joke of themselves.
We have the money but should be judicious in it’s use.

sas

good talk agni, buying biglia at 31 for 20mil is way too much and besides his contract expires with Lazio next year so am sure Lazio will come down to our level

#1Milan Fan South Africa

Cant we sign modest of Koln for 20 mill?he is much better and younger than kalinic!!Or Timo Werner ?get the Forsberg deal done already.

paul

am ok with that 13-15m, but never plus montolivo for I need competition they.
we all want young players, good but remember that old and experience player can’t be missed in a team to coach the young players.
do you also forget locatelli?

imadala

Bye2 biglia..welcome hames/pastore

#1Milan Fan South Africa

Why cant we get Giovanni Simeone ?Please fasobelli get the guy already !!

perttu junnonaho

I want Kovacic from Real over Biglia any day! And also Roma”s Leandro Paredes would be a perfect upgrade over Montolivo!

Lekym

I keep screaming for paredes.. But no one listens… Paredes outshined our whole midfield when milan played roma.. We need him… And montella requested for him last season

Milan10

If milan cant get at least 8-10m from paletta’s sale then theres no point in selling him. He will only cost milan <600k if he stays but milan can have solid back up for when musacchio and/or roma (god forbid) inevitably get injured. Gomez is solid albeit a bit clumsy but i read that he might be sold. Ely can be a surprise next season but theres no way to know for sure, and he might be sold too. Zapata, well, yeah. If milan sell paletta for peanuts then they would have to target yet another cb which wouldnt be… Read more »

BAWSE 16

I am disappointed with your comments…coming from u it’s appalling

Milan10

Milan will be having troubles if they sell paletta leaving only ely, zapata and gomez as subs and fail to buy biglia and pastore or dm/am of their calibre and experience (james and tolusso wont come). Mark my words

Baresis Dream

I have to agree with Milan10 regarding Paletta and Pastore. Regarding Biglia I’m on the fence.

But can׳t see anything remotely appalling with his comments.

Baresis Dream

ah, I see … I didn’t read the part about selling Donna …

Baggio-Milan

Stop this nonsense

xiangfu

Comment: I think you are either galliani or raiola, why are you wishing downfall for Milan

abdul

Comment: less go for kovacic ,James Rodriguez, fabregas,or moussa sissoko of Tottenham than bigilia

nick

We already have an agreement with Biglia and his contract expires next summer so we can get him for free without paying a penny next season. Besides, there is no desparate need to get him now or at all. I would rather we go for Parades or get Krychowiak on loan with an option to buy. Both are younger and it would be a better investment for the longer term future. Let’s wrap up Conti, Donnaruma, Kallinic and Suso deals today please! Next stop Fabergas and James Rodriguez. Trust me we need both to win the scudetto next season which… Read more »

Baresis Dream

Very difficult choice this is. Biglia is world class, but no one is sure how many good seasons he has in him. If he performs well only for next season, and gets us CL spot, the gamble was worth it. On the other hand, almost any type of injury could end this guy’s career, flushing down all the investment.

Milanista121

I agree with them that they shouldnt pay too much. Madrid paid 25 for Kroos with an expiring contract, who was a WC winner and younger… I prefer Biglia to Krychowiak though, despite the age difference. Biglia is much better with the ball at his feet, so he would be solid defensively while also being able to spread the play. His characteristics are more vital to us than Krychowiak, at least in my opinion. Agreed with , we should go for Pastore, I think his style of play suits Serie A much more than the french league.

olatunji saheed

instest of going for all this dead mildfielders, i thing millan sould go for roma mildfielder nainggolan.

Djuka

We should pay atention at Stefan Simic, he had great games against Italy and Germay and he is alredy our player

WhereIsTheSpirit

Rather than spending too much on big names like fabregas, james, modric, kovacic, pastore etc., or biglia, i prefer to invest the money on fresh talented names like : – Marcos Acuna (Argentinean, 25 y.o, Racing) – Naby Keita (Guinean, 22 y.o, Leipzig) – Emil Forsberg (Swedish, 25 y.o, Leipzig) Acuna and Forsberg are king of assits, while Keita is a hard worker like Kante. Acuna is a all rounder midfielder, very good in crossing, passing and shooting. He also good in tackling. Pure gems for the future. Chase Acuna as the main target since Leipzig’s president has blocked Keita… Read more »

I have to agree with you to be honest but I think that we will have to do that over time, say 2-3 seasons maybe?

But for now we are losing revenue from not being in the UCL. Hence the urgent reason to sign proven experienced players like Fabergas, James Rodriguez and Biglia.

We just need to lock down Donnaruma, Suso, Roma and Locatelli due to their age.

bidonesia

i guess our board priority is Locatelli, why we going for Biglia & still keep Monty, player like Loca & Bertolacci need guidance… Montella really like player with strong personality & experienced atleast 1 in every area… we have Storari, Abate, & Monty… Bacca isn’t strong enough, that why we need player like Biglia & Kalinic… but i agree, 50m for both players is too much… i rather choose 1 of Pellegrini or Paredes of Roma (they can’t keep both) & Bernardi or Petagna for striker… without right guidance even player like Gagliardini & Kondogbia will end up like Poli… Read more »

Season 11/12 hurts us the most. We lost Sokratis, Pirlo, and Aubameyang.

Abe

20mil for him is bull. You can get someone better than him for 10-15 mil from Premier League… but the visa limit

fergus mccloud

Dont buy Biglia. Give Locatelli more playing time. Solve De Sciglio issue. Abate is no more a good crosser, over shoots his crosses. Need a Gattuso kind of player badly!

The Psamlist

It seems as if the tansfer spending has lured the glory hunters to AC Milan. On any forum, Milan fans are always the most knowledgeable about football in general and are rational about what kind of players our club needs. Since the takeover i see glory hunters throwing around names for the heck of it. How does Jack Wilshere etc contribute to our project from a sporting sense or raise our profile? new fans are cool, but It irritates me when people only jump on board when things look good. Where were these glory hunters in the days of Djamel… Read more »

Badelj as alternative to biglia

Pray_For_Milan

Let’s just get Badelj if Biglia won’t come. Pastore is a fan of AC Milan I would prefer him than James. €20m is too much for a 31y/o at least let’s get Maia from Brazil who can play that role pretty well and is good with his feet and passing also and his release clause is €14m now that would be a bargain. Regarding Donnarumma, it would be good to tie him down to a contract then sell him for +€100m cause we can already see he is not reliable when it comes to deciding for himself, hence being dominated… Read more »
