Leonel Vangioni and Rodrigo Ely are targets of SPAL and it’s reported that Milan are willing to loan them out.

Milan signed Vangioni on a free transfer last summer and after difficult first months in which he found no space, he started playing more and at times was Montella’s first choice left-back.

But with Ricardo Rodriguez most likely arriving soon and Luca Antonelli regaining fitness, Vangioni’s minutes at Milan could be even more limited next season.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, newly promoted side SPAL have shown interest in Vangioni and contacted Milan as they wish to take the Argentine on loan.

Vangioni is not the only Rossonero SPAL want, as they are also after center back Rodrigo Ely, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Alaves, where he made 10 La Liga appearances.

Di Marzio says that Milan have opened the door for both players and are ready to send them on loan. There are still many obstacles in SPAL’s way, however, and updates are expected in the coming weeks.

Gustavo Gomez and Rodrigo Ely are way more useful than Paletta and Zapata…

Don’t know what they are thinking… are we going to play with 3-5-2 ?

If theres one player who needs to comtemplate his football career and his whole existence a safe distance away from milan, its zapata not ely, especially if milan are going to use 3-5-2 as main formation

Ely shld stay, paletta nshld go, we want a young team with flair

we want a team that wins…the article is about ely and vangioni not other players…they both suck…maybe in 3-4 years after ely gets some more playing time he might mature into a decent player…until then…loan them out.

Agreed, although I am always a bit skeptical when a young loaned player goes on a consecutive loan to another club, like Ely here. I’d prefer if he left towards the end of summer, so Montella could assess him after his Primera loan, cause with a bit of experience added he can’t be that far behind Zapata and especially Gomez. Who along with Paletta are all subs for Roma and Musacchio.

Conti – Kessie – Loca/Biglia – Rodriguez
—— Suso – Belotti — Jack

Make De Sciglio stay and play CB. I want to see him become a solid rock there.
I am loving the Bellotti rumours.

that is basically a 5-3-2

Comment:if you want Suso in the line; then 343 would be most suitable formation!

I don’t care about Vangioni but just don’t sell Ely yet. He has great potential but why he hasn’t fulfilled it at Milan is the question. He might still turn out good, so either keep him or send him on another loan.

On the downside, his agent is Raiola !

loan not sale

Lord Zapata’s transfer news is what am waiting for.

Comment: Jack will seem like a new signing next season. cheers!

I actually think this is good news. If they can promise them a lot of game time, especially to ELy, then we should go for it.
Because I do not see ELY getting much game time at milan, so if he is more or less guranteed to start for them, then perfect. He will get to grow in Seria A, and it will be easy to track his performance.

Ely was superb at La Liga.
Romag – Musacchio – Gomez – Ely —– they should be our first 4 choices for CB; with one or two of Paletta – Zapata – Gabbia – (De Santis?) as back ups.
And sell Vergara asap.

superb in LaLiga you just said ? playing just 10 games …. A loan deal to the newly promoted Seria A team will give more playing time and experience bout italian football..

Don Bee

Loan deal for the duo not a bad idea as long as they both have playing times…
