Luiz Adriano signed the contract with the Russian club last night and has officially ended his career with Milan.

Yesterday it was made official that Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano has left Milan to join Russian league’s FC Spartak.

“Milan announces to have agreed terms with Spartak Moscow for the permanent transfer of Luiz Adriano,” a statement on the Diavolo’s website read. “The Club wants to thank Luiz for his two seasons in the Red and Black and wishes him the very best of luck for the future.”

It’s believed that Milan got near nothing in transfer fee for the 29-year-old Luiz Adriano but they will be making a huge save due to his high salary.

Luiz Adriano joined the club from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2015, made 36 appearances and scored 6 goals.

Pathetic deal. He couldve gone to chinese league for at least 5-10m.

Rosso138

He could have gone anywhere for AT LEAST 2.5m… This is ridiculous!

I’m all for. He hasn’t flourished and struggles as a striker in a system where it is centre forward or nothing for the man. Transfer fees mean little when his salary for sitting on the bench is several times that of our best youngsters who actually do play.
