Milan will most likely learn tomorrow if they can sign Gerard Deulofeu on loan (without an option to buy) while VP Adriano Galliani has revealed that Jose Sosa will not be leaving the Rossoneri.
Milan are on the market solely for a winger, namely Deulofeu and after days of silence, the Rossoneri made renewed contacts with Everton on Tuesday.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the English club will most likely give Milan a final answer regarding the 22-year-old Deulofeu tomorrow.
“An answer tonight? No, no… we are talking about it and it takes time, we negotiate, talk, chat and discuss,” Adriano Galliani said today regarding Deulofeu.
The offer of Milan is a ‘dry’ loan, meaning without an option to buy. This is because of clauses in Deulofeu’s contract which give Barcelona a buy-back option and certain benefits which make the loan + option route unfeasible. The Rossoneri can’t buy him permanently either as they don’t have any budget for this market.
The Spaniard, who can play on both wings in attack, wants to join the club and Sky reports that there is optimism in the Milan camp that the answer of Everton will be positive and the player will join. The Diavolo want an alternative for Suso on the right wing as at the moment there is only Honda.
Galliani meanwhile also confirmed that “we have decided with the coach that Jose Sosa will remain at Milan.” Sosa, who joined this summer is said to be wanted by Fenerbahce and Chinese clubs.
