I have mixed feelings about Bacca, but his attitude lately is childish.

I don’t blame Mihajlovic for not playing Suso, because when he did he was not impressive. I am so glad to see what Montella has been able to do with him. He can change pace quickly, get past opponents, and hold the ball well. His passing and shooting are both getting better.

I am so happy to see Lapadula shine. He is a forward with great technique and the heart and work ethic of Gattuso.

Lapa drops back, lapa runs , lapa chases , lapa passes , lapa scores . Lapa does all. Bacca waits for the ball , and when he gets it he only things about triying to score. 1 dimensional players are not fit for modern day football.

Oh look at you all sell-bacca people! We have Lapadula playing one good game and suddenly he is Van Basten and we do not need Bacca anymore. Idiotic. As Milan10 said, performance dips are part of the life. And selling Bacca without a definitely better replacement would be simply idiotic. As idiotic it was to let Pasalic start. The first 10 minutes, we could do simply NOTHING in the midfield, when Kucka came on and we started getting balls in midfield. And only after Pasalic was off and Poli came in, we had a meaningful presence in the midfield. The… Read more »

coudnt agree more about pasalic, but the problem is bonaventura position, as a winger we need another replacement in MF, thats why we played pasalic/sosa/mati in his position, unfortunately pasalic, sosa, and mati werent good enough (we should sell them in january), problem solved if we put bona in MF but niang lacks of consistency. actually, on his top performance niang really helpful.

I will say it again. With such attitude and when being benched, i cannot imagine what kind of problems he will give. Just subbing him out at the 80th min when we were defending our lead and he was already giving Montella wtf body language. If he is benched permanently, he maybe even more disruptive than Balotelli. If a player doesn’t give 100% after being demoralized or frustrated after being relegated to bench, he is not worth keeping.

Precisely. It is not about how great a player you are. It is about respecting a manager. If the manager doesn’t take disciplinary action, other players will start to disrespect him and this will cause unrest in the dressing room. Furthermore bacca did this on camera where everybody was watching. What else can I say. And now, seems like he is being outright defiant to watch Sevilla game on purpose.
