Balotelli’s technique and hold up play is so frighten good. I really hope he stays calm and concentrated and pushes himself to reach that world class bracket. It’s still possible.
We’ve conceded 8goals in just 5matches, pretty poor & leaky defence. Has to be worked on quickly. Though a positive to note is that we are improving steadily. Happy for d win

Missed the match today, but ive been waiting since preseason for monty and dejong to be paired together. My ideal line up has monty and dejong together in a 442 or a 4231…

I dont know, I also wanted this lineup. I wanted de jong in guttuso role, but now im not so sure anymore.
De jong dont have the speed work rate nor dos he have any passing skills, i love his defending but because he has ZERO abilityes to do anything else im starting to agree with Man City.
dejong was not awful but still kucka was far better.. may be de jong shud just sit in front of defense and push montolivo a bit further.. dejong-Montolivo-Bertolacci/Kucka-Bonaventura shud be a good solution provided bertolacci gets back to last season form.. Bonaventura after an awful pre-season seems a completely new player better than last year.. hope berto follows suit
there wasn’t much link ups between the two in particular but the midfield was good defensively and attacking ok for most period of the game. wasn’t as spectacular as the previous match with kucka thou but I think monto & dejong are two important players who should both be starters at some point because always keeping one on the bench even when inform won’t really last.
yes they played together in the 4-3-1-2 formation but i must tell you its to me one of the those worse day of ac milan. dejong can not add any creativity to this team and he was played in the right hand midfield. so the team never attach with this line up. so i will want to see both as a holding mid-fielder with a very creative attacking mid-fielder then with very mobile flang attacking player then it will work our aside this bring in dejong only when we need to seal up our games. thanks
Di siglio is at fault for both goals.. The 1st he watched the player take the shot and just stood frozen…did not close him Down. For the 2nd he lost track of the man he was supposed to pick up in the box and stood there appealing for an offside….He is too inconsistent 3 goals now in the last two games he has been at fault for. Can’t see him starting when antonielli returns and abate is fit.

1.Our mentality is weak when we lead goal, we thinks game is over so we make easy mark, we didn’t give pressure on second half…

The 8 goals is 5 games worries me. You can’t do well with weak defenses.
He took Calabria out because it seems like Calabria was gonna get the second yellow. for me it would’ve been better if he change Calabria with Alex and deploy MDS for RB role; let Romagnoli fill the left side, and put both of Zapata and Alex for centre half role. Zapata had not played RB role for ages, whilst romagnoli can play both centre half and LB also good with the ball.
Mihajlovic said he substituted Calabria for Alex because Udinese had more taller players and with their frequent crosses and free kicks he brought Alex to help in aerial power.

How dare you try to blame one person for those silly goals we conceded. Didn’t you see the fact that virtually all the goals we have conceded this season have come from a delay in reading and closing down an opponents attack. we are simply not aggressive in defense and this is where an experienced defense leader (ferdinand, terry, maldini etc) is needed to direct the defending. its similar to barca’s easy rakitic goal in the absence of chielini. When the passer already pass the line of the last defender, it is not offside
their second goal wasn’t offside. the passer was further infront of the scorer and I this case doesn’t matter where your last defender is.
I think it was offside too. But what upset me is the centre half decided to chase the crosser which is far away from the goal rather than marking the Udinese players in the box. The defense always seems panic when they are forced to defend intense pressure from the flank, which led to all cheap-avoidable-goal the team has been suffering this season.
I agree for you pointed that Milan need a defence leader, and i think that Mexes can provide that in his best condition.
Very good first half, good job to everyone in attack. The second half was very shaky but we got 3 points and it’s all that matters for now. Vast improvements in our attack this season, just wondering how would our attack look with Menez Bacca and Balotelli , Adriano is a good substitute but nothing more(i think Robinho is his middle name) :))
Hey guys…How ya doing? Missed you all on this blog. Been very busy lately, missed two matches in a row, very unlike me.. Anyway, glad we got the three points, but something really needs to be done about that defense, hoping Mihaj figures something out soon. In the last two games, we’ve conceded 4 and scored 6, we have one of the best goal keepers in the league yet our defense can’t hold their own for 90 minutes. Yeah sure I’ll be getting Fifa 16, though I’ve read some reviews online which gives me some concern based on the fact that those reviews are from long time fifa players and considering the fact that I’m not into fifa at all makes me feel it’s going to take sometime to get used to the game play.
