Galliani the so called transfer guru gets owned by inter Milan our rivals with all the money put into this season he still can’t manage to build a quality team midfield is just a message.U should be ashamed of urself guru u were the biggest fail in this whole dilemma a disgrace u have no business in this new world of football btw inter omg wow good on u guys give credit were its due people we can congratulate them even tho they r our rivals good luck to them while Milan sit back n watch another horror show this… Read more »

can anyone explain how did Juve sign 4 non-EU players when we couldn’t and we couldn’t? Cuardado has only Colombian passport; Alex Sandro, Neto and Hernanes have only Brazillian passport. if it’s so why did we miss signing of Abdennour who clearly stated his desire to join Milan. we could have gone for a lot of quality players.

MilaFan

You can sign non-EU players if they already play in Serie A and it doesn’t count. But for instance we couldn’t have had Genoa sign Abdennour and then loan him to us because the player has to already be a Serie A player for this to work.

Levano

so why didn’t we? it would continue the tradition also we could have given Matri as a bribe

ACMilanSince 69

I don’t think it was that bad. We got rid of 8 players over 30 and didn’t buy anymore washed up players over 30. It seemed that, for most, Miha was calling the shots and we brought in players he knew, rather than big names.

Mojdanis

Galliani you old idiot.

donsky

Galliani failed to fulfill the team with the right person… especially in the midfielder…. but thats what happened. Now, it depends on Miha… how to maximize what Milan have. As minimum, he may improve their mentality likes he said before. And I hope he gives chance to Mauri rather ghan Nocerino. Pray the best for Milan.

Mahmoud

No improvements in midfield. Prepare yourselves for another season with CL.

Bynz

i still cant believe that they have midfield issues and let Verdi and Mastour go on loan with a buy option for Mastour what madness is that Galliani go now just go leave cause i feel as if someone will kill you for letting Mastour go to say the least

Stef79

learn to read. Mial also got an rebuy option.

sher2121

Another mercato has come to end. Well it was not the perfect one but we improved at least some things especially strikers. My perfect one coul be like this. Defence: we got rid of Bonera, Zaccardo, Bochetti, Vila and let go of Paletta and Rami. Some say letting Paletta and Rami go was wrong. I dont think so they were nothing special but average players. Alex should be sold too and we should have signed one more CB. Garay could have been awesome, we still should go for him in the january. Romagnoli deal was good imo he already showed… Read more »

totally agree except the last part of Midfield section. Menez is way better than Sneijder, though Honda should have been sold getting Nasri and/or Sneijder would have been the wrong move. what we are missing is a CB and 2 midfielders.

sher2121

You got it wrong. Menez might be better than Snejder at dribbling or something but he is not even close to Snejder when it comes to creativity, vision and killer passes. I still hope we will go for him, Garay and one more creative CM and let go of at least six players in the january. Whatever happens FORZA MILAN.

i am so annoyed with this BS comments by fans thinking we are doing something wrong with mastour and all
as if they were gonna be a part of the first team
they need playing time to grow even suso should have been loaned out
even though mauri also i feel should have but i guess he will get playing time

octavius

We essentially gave them our player for 2 years free and will pay them 6 mil to get him back. That’s what’s screwed up about this deal. Malaga wins this hands down.
The kid is 17 and plenty of upside. Even if he stinks up the field for 2 years he’ll still be 19 with plenty of potential.
Why we couldn’t put a no buy option on him like Van Ginkle. Oh that would require fester to think for once.

rosso-138

how dense are you???

they have to pay us 5m if they want the player, and if they do, we can pay them 6 to get him back! that is 6-5=1m euros… and Mastour’s sallary is I believe 800k/y which is 1.6m for 2 years… so in WORST case we will be 600k in plus…

Michbeck

Oh my god. octavius please think for once or get some help before posting your next comments.

Blah

@octavius
And this is exactly what I meant by BS comments by fans
It’s a win for us
We need him to develop and we won’t be doing it so Malaga will do it for us he will be a regular for 2 years over here max he will play in copa
Why can’t you guys understand this!

rosso-138

well… It was better mercato than any in last 4-5 years… that is a fact… we got rid of most dead wood, and bring some beastly players. With that being said, we have also done mistakes… Midfield is far from good and only if Miha does some miracle we will play good football… I hope he can do it… In defence we are 90% done and attack is just wow, with Bacca – Adriano duo and Menez and Balotelli on the bench we have best individual players in attack in italy… and that is also a fact… Every one of… Read more »

I agree you, but i prefer monty on deep playmaker put de jong on the right..monty has been bad lately, but he is the only one who can play pirlo role..in his best prformance, he can be more useful compare to others midfielder.

Monty (pirlo role)
De jong(dirty work/gattuso role) honda/bona(seedorf role)
Balotelli/menez

Bacca. L. Adriano

rosso-138

I quote myself: “If miha could find even 1% of Pirlo in him, he should put him in place of De Jong and put De Jong on the right…”

octavius

you 3 need to brush up on your critical thinking skills.
We gave Mastour to Malaga for free and will need to buy him back for 6mil. They’re not giving us any money for the loan. Only if they want to buy him. At the end of 2 years they will buy him for 5mil or we need to take him back for 6 mil. We could of developed him here.

Cryptic

No you need to brush your skills its al loan why would we pay to have him back ? They pay first then we use our option.

octavius

They don’t pay us, buddy. They took him on loan and pay his salary. IF they want him they pay us 5mil. If we want him we pay them 6mil. Is that so hard to understand. Sheesh.

Cryptic

Malaga wants mastour they pay us 5 mil if we want him after they pay we simply pay 6 million. If Malaga don’t want mastour and we do we don’t pay them we just recieve our player back.

The calculator for the publication that make that calculation must be broken….

ACM-Auckland
Levano

Inter signed 6 good players and we signed 6 good players as well. Ljajic, Jovetic, Kondogbia, Santon, Miranda, Perisic. we signed Bacca >>>> Jovetic, Luiz = Perisic, Romagnoli, Antonelli >>>> Santon, Bertolacci <<< Kondogbia, Balo >>> Ljajic. we just needed 1 or 2 midfielder and a CB. besides we bought our players, except Balo when they got 3, 4 players on loan. Balo can and will become great once again. Bertolacci needs time. and guys stop comparing our current players to legends it’s a huge burden and it may be one of the reasons they have problem playing.

Axelynx22

I have to disagree with some people here bashing galliani like he has done some doom to this club. In my opinion our mercato is excellent. We got rid many deadweights, and got adequate addition to striker, defense especially. Midfield still need to be seen for couple matches. I think its very silly and dumb to judge bertolacci (especially) after only 2 competitive matches, as we know what he can do at genoa. Calling him a flop NOW is very stupid in my opinion. EVEN best player needs time to gel with new club, new coaches, new tactics, new environment.… Read more »

Absolutely agree,,
For the peoples that bashing on galliani, luckily they are not the one that manage the club,,
They think they are smart enough and football expert,,
Forza milan till the end!!

ACM-Auckland

The next game is going to be Inter vs ACM. Luckily we play now and not later.

Either a draw or a ACM hard fought win!!

In my opinion the chances are 49-51 for ACM.

Inter have way too many new players in the team they need more time to connect, but if they do connect(I hope not 🙂 ) is going to be a top 3 finish for them.

hope

Best lineup we can create right now to fix our midfield problems is 4312:
Lopez; DSC, Mexes, Romagnoli, Antonelli; DeJong, Montolivo, Berto; Jack; Bacca, Adriano

Why dont we try De Jong as a side midfielder and Montolivo as a regista?

hbsl

sher2121, really impressed with your comment. But i think we should not have allowed Paletta leave.

I belief also in Jose Mauri. Just like you said and it’s as if you read my mind, players like Honda, Suso, Cerci should not even come near Milan as a city let alone playing for AC Milan.

In any case, it’s left for the coach to demonstrate how good he is. As far as im concerned, i can’t have a Bona and Jose Mauri and be crying like a baby for CAM

sher2121

I dont know what you guys see in Paletta, both Mexes and Zapata ON THEIR DAY better than him. All they need is consistensy and with the right coaching they would be better esp Zapata. We still should go for Garay though.

maddox

Worst mercato.. we don’t improve anything except in attack with all the money we spend. Wtf..

Pa ibra

mancini is not that good guys I’m not worried with his team’s great mercato..infact I believe he’ll play 3 DMFs medel-melo-kondogbia with guarin another DMF as trequatista..you’ll all see that he’s allegri. I don’t see a strong reason why milan should finish behind lazio, juve, fiorentina etc. roma should be our only treat to the scudetto. no sarcasm really.

Pa ibra

I’m far from being satisfied with the mercato particularly because there was money available with galliani doing very little job, despite, I also feel the team has performed below par in the opening 2 matches but i believe in miha to bring something more out of them. disappointed and concerned with ending the summer without a top midfield signing which might be decisive but I’m still fairly confident.

Hasowayne

BASTARDS…!

Lumen

So many impatient and pessimistic fans here.We all have different football understanding.
Galliani did a great Job this summer. He can’t build everything at once because he’s not the Omnipotent God.

Sheva

He cant rebuild everything at one? How come he can mess up everything at once season after season?

WE are not asking gallani to clean up somebody elses mess, we are asking him to clean up his OWN mess and then resign.

I think only inter fans will thank galliani for his job

dapito

i still choose galliani rather you… galliani bring bacca, adriano, and other… how bout you? what already you gave to milan? another complaint everyday?? i rather you change your name not sheva… sheva gave big contribution to milan…. and gabe big complaint

Tkonami
Sheva

How come we didnt sign hernanes?? He is exactly what i needed

Rossonero

People on this blog are so ignorant, miha just need find a way to recover montolivo form.
Don’t forget he’s been our captain for a long disastrous season, so I think he has psychological problem for carry the burden of the team for a long time. So let Miha fix it first and please support our Milan now, mercato is over stop complaining about witsel, moutinho, kondogbia etc cos its useless.
Just support our Milan now and always

FORZA MILAN !

Did we manage to get rid of Suso?

Milanista121

So here is what i think. All in all, it wasnt a bad mercato – it was actually quite a good one, we got rid of a lot of players who shouldnt have been at Milan at the first place, and our defence looka good now actually. I only miss Paletta as i think him and Romagnoli would be excellent together. Our attack is set as well. Now, here’s what i believe, in the end, made all of us so disappointed: we were promised so much in the beginning. Martinez and Kondogbia were done, but were snatched right in front… Read more »

RKaY

definitely, I understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, I think getting a class midfielder in January depends on how well we do up until then. Because if we look shaky, I feel that berlusconi will have a hissy fit and not spend.

Milanista121

@axelynx22, very true, and i read your post from before and i agree to a 100 %, with that said, imo we’ve already had our fair share of good squad players… Like all others i wanted someone who would improve the quality of our midfield. Of course Sapo has much more talent than them, but some players are just better in different environments, its that simple really…

exactly if you go by performance birsa and paloschi played the best till now

Axelynx22

Couldnt agree more brother, some players did better in some other teams and environment. Not only that , it all comes down to tactis and role he plays there. E.g saponara, in empoli he “shines” because all his teammates collecting the ball to him, so thats why he looks very important there. And after all he did has some potential. Axelynx22

Agreed! Been saying couple times for this issues, the one letting pirlo go is allegri, because he choose to play van bommel in regista position. Yes galliani has responsibility too for letting him go for free, but if a coach doesnt believe in player, and player is unhappy and asked to leave, what can he do though. Same case for matri signing which is allegri’s spesific request, same as romagnoli whom is miha’s speaific request.

blah

exactly allegri wanted matri even after he went to juventus he asked for matri and we gave him
galliani gets the players that the coach asks for not on his own
on his own he only gets the players who made a name in milan already like how he did for kaka shevchenko ibra etc
stop blaming galliani and see who is the real problem
if team does well then the coach is amazing if they do bad galliani is stupid
this is why i prefer barca and united fans they know who to blame for what

Montenapoleone

It looks like we overpaid for Bertolacci but he needs time to settle down and play regularly. Same with Kucka, sorry he’s not a big enough name for some people but let’s see how he does before you write him off eh? Inter brought a lot of players but it all seems short term to me. Lol career mode in fifa does strange. I can buy marco reus from dortmund with 10m + matri tags.

exactly inflation takes place so its expensive thats why berto was so much also the form of the player matters
and last year berto was among the best of the best
what i dont understand is how are they expecting us to buy rather spend so much after being a fan of milan since the last 3 or more years
we used to only do loan deals up till now

Don’t forget that Inter loaned most of their players (or have you included the fee to buy them)

With that in mind Milan has bought most of their player with being payed in installments for example

Alessio Romanglio cost for milan this year:

5M + Salary 2M=7M
I think same with Bacca don’t remember

He was our best vs empoli but what about the fiorentina match? my point is he can score goals against weak teams.. That is how he scored 9 goals in CL last year.. Look at all of his CL goals .. you wont find much goals against a PL or La Liga or Serie A team.. I want him to succeed at Milan but I will not change my judgement till i see him put a great performance against at least 2 out of Juve, Inter, Roma,Lazio,Napoli and Fiorentina.
