Adil Rami is the latest player to leave Milan as an agreement with Sevilla has been reached, it’s been confirmed.

Daniele Bonera, Giampaolo Pazzini, Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien have all already left the red and black clubs but all walked out as free men. But now Adil Rami is ready to wave goodbye as he’s set to head back to La Liga to join Sevilla.

“Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with AC Milan for the transfer of Adil Rami,” Sevilla announced on their website on Wednesday evening. “The French international will arrive for a medical next week when he returns from holiday, if all goes as expected he will sign a four-year contract.”

The player also confirmed on Twitter that “I’ve decided to accept a new challenge. On Monday I’ll be in Seville for a medical”. It’s reported that Milan will receive €3.5m from the transfer.

He is worth more than 3.5 million! If 3.5 is the best we can get, then we should keep him! What a waste of great talent 🙁

No need to give him back his 500,000 he hardly did anything and got a lot more from his salary, this guy was also awful too, this is great news and we are lucky to even get 3.5 million for this junk.

I agree Rami shouldn’t have been sold, and hes certainly worth more than 3.5mil…i guess last season left such a bad taste in his mouth that he just needs a fresh start…the 3.5mil only makes sense if its unofficially part of the Bacca deal, which is most likely the situation.

This guy swallowed his pride to pay 500k to come to Milan and Galliani sold him for cheap? The baldie is a junkie.

I believe is only 3.5 mil. For tax reasons and the difference will be in the Carlos Bacca transfer

Oh no…it’s better to keep him and release Zaccardo and Zapata….for Mexes, I’m still 50-50 cause he showed good performance in last few games and full of motivation….

Well with Boner gone, Alex going and Rami sold we’ll need a couple of solid CBs. Hopefully Zacardo will go as well. We should keep Zapata and Mexes.

Rami was actually one of few defenders on the team who was bleeding for the jersey, u know, that kind of guy who were going in for sliding block for a shot. And he was one few centerbacks who could run forward with the ball on his feet. He had great shots (long range) and good aerial ability. But he could be out of position on some occasions. I wish him luck in Sevilla, he know the leaue as well.

Great idea Galliani — let Rami go and keep Zapata… The ghost of Bonera lives on after all.
