Daniele Bonera’s deal will expire at the end of this day and he bid farewell to the club with which he won the CL.
Milan terminated the contract of Sulley Muntari on Tuesday afternoon and it was confirmed later that day by the Milan Channel that in this round of contract renewals, Bonera will not be getting a new deal and will say goodbye to Milan nearly 10 years after joining the club.
Bonera signed an extension in 2013 and this contract is set to expire in the new few hours. The 34-year-old is leaving Milan after playing over 200 games in the red and black shirt, winning the Scudetto in 2011 and the Champions League in 2007.
Giampaolo Pazzini is another player that is certain to leave while the situation with Christian Abbiati and Philippe Mexes is still unclear. Their contracts expire today as well but they might stay.
