M’Baye Niang confirmed on Twitter that he will continue his red and black adventure and has extended his deal.
Sulley Muntari, Giampaolo Pazzini and Daniele Bonera are all on the way out (while it remains to be seen what the future holds for Mexes and Abbiati) but the club assured today that they have M’Baye Niang for the long run as the player signed an extension today.
“I’m with the Rossoneri for another two years,” Niang wrote on Twitter this evening adding a picture with Vice President Galliani at Casa Milan. “I am very happy. Thanks to Milan for having faith in me, I’m always proud.”
The Rossoneri have also released an official announcement. It remains to be seen what role Niang will have in the Milan of Mihajlovic considering the Rossoneri keep looking for attackers.
so this is in my opnion also good news, he can play in the cup games and if we got injuries he’ll also be a good replacement. Lots of room to improve also. Now Bacca, Witsel or Hector Herrera, Moreno and/or romagnoli/laporte. I dont think we can get either of those two but then we should maybe give Paletta another chance. Paletta next to Moreno looks like a very solid defence.
Yes, keep him and give him playing time, he deserves it!! this is one damn good day =)

The day that keeps on giving! I hope now we give him playing time on a regular basis and pass on guys like Luiz Adriano. Ibra, Bacca, and Niang are more than enough for 1 position.

Spot on mate. The only thing that I dont agree with you is I would play SES to pair with Bacca than Ibra. With one world class creative midfielder De Bruyne/ Oscar/ Nasri ( I personally want Oscar) SES could improve his goal ratio which is his only lack. I wanted Witsel but with the arrivings os Bertolacci and Mauri we dont really need him. For defence id suggest break the bank for T. Silva but if not Dante is best choice I think. Forza Milan

Not to be negative on this great day, but Im far from convinced by Niang. In my opinion he is way too imature to play at this level at this stage of hes career. He is tactically not good enough yet, and not to mention hes finishing! yeah I know he scored a few goals for Genoa, but he is still a very poor finisher! I remember the preseason games last year where even Bonera scored a couple of goals and Niang missed a ton of oppurtunities against serie D sides!
