Jose Mauri is reportedly on the verge of making the move to Milan after Parma went bankrupt yesterday.

Yesterday was a very sad day for Italian football as Parma, one of the most important clubs in the history of Calcio, declared bankrupt and will start the next season from the amateur leagues.

The players of Parma are now basically free to join whatever clubs they want and according to Sky Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport among others, the Rossoneri are close to signing Jose Mauri who made 31 appearances for the Ducali last season.

Fiorentina are also interested in Mauri and there were reports yesterday that the Viola have taken over Milan in the race but now it’s stated that the 19-year-old is likely to join Milan on a 4-year deal. Mauri is a central midfielder but Nigel De Jong is still expected to sign a renewal soon while the Rossoneri keep trying to get one of Axel Witsel and Giannelli Imbula and also still want Bertolacci.

SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla claims that Milan are ready to make an offer to Roma for Bertolacci (the talk is €15m plus bonuses) but it remains to be seen if the Giallorossi will agree to let go of him.

Does anybody know any updates between Milan and Santos? Weren’t we inquiring about Gabigol? If we got him, people would forget about Jackson Martinez very quickly.

Rather buy lucas lima than gabigol

Has anyone heard of Higuain to Milan? his Wikipedia page says he’s Ac Milan player… Guys I wanna know what’s going on asap

Reports say witsel will sign for milan TODAY!?

Report from where bro? The source is kinda important you know

A belgian newspaper… are there any belgians here? Who knows if the source is reliable? There are some sources in Malta who says the same, who are supposedly reliable true… but I wont believe anything until I see it become official. I pray that we will get to see the official announcement today though, I really do. And on another note, Matri looks set to stay with us, because of the new rule that teams must have at least four homegrown players. We have Abate, De Sciglio and Antonelli, the fourth will be Matri. As a back-up i dont mind… Read more »

You unbelievably forgot to add El Sharawwy to those four Italian players… And MATRI??? Lips sealed.

No, homegrown, from our Primavera that is.
Otherwise we have Paletta, Montolivo, Poli, Abbiati, so we are quite set in that department…

Did u read what Matri said about this coming season!!! I couldn’t help but cry!!

Oh okay… Thought they just needed to be Italians..1

Still, Mastour, Mastalli, Calabria? Rodrigo Ely? Petagna, if he returns? Darmian would also count, if that was to happen. And even though his season in Roma has been disappointing, Astori also counts. If I am not mistaken, Pato arrived at 16,5 yars, and spent the next three seasons with us, so he should also count – if we are talking about having mediocre players for the sake of filing the homegrown requirements My point is, I do not see this as a reason to keep Matri, unless Miha has the same view of him as Allegri clearly did, bringing him… Read more »

Mastour!!! Is that you??? loooool.. Dude, you sure are a dreamer..!

@Rosso I have also checked and it is true as you said but knowing how bad our hopes have been dashed I’d rather wait for it to be confirmed.Gialuca di Marzio is also reporting on the story just as Sudpress a Belgian newspaper is also reporting and they are actually reporting the deal should be signed today. Let’s hope and pray

I’m kinda glad we didn’t get Kondogbia and Jackson. The deal was unnecessarily inflated and they don’t seem to be the loyal type. Their words mean nothing! Getting them would have prompted other players to demand higher wages at Milan, and in a couple of years…boom. We’d have had to sell a lot of good players to balance the books (Ibra, Silva). Galliani should be calm about the mercato, going stealth in his operations. This will ensure he gets good deals. Forza Milan!

Fotball italia wrote this:

Now SudInfo in the player’s native Belgium is reporting that Witsel signed a contract with the Rossoneri on Tuesday, having flown to Italy to complete the deal.

SudInfo makes no mention of the transfer fee involved or length of contract, but is certain that Witsel has decided to move to San Siro.

Why is it not offical Jose Mauri and Witsel close the deals why are you waiting, do you want inter to steal them?

no deal!!!….again! wait…lets pause for a sec here..we have the squad to atleast finish 3rd in any given season but we didn’t have a seasoned coach cos the last seasoned coach that we had we fired for no good reason paving his way to this season champions league silver medal!! how that happened sickens me cos we never gave him a competitive squad!! anyway, my point is, we now have a guy who atmost, sounds and looks like a coach so lets see what he can do with our current average pool of talent! damn, how I wish we never… Read more »
