Unai Emery has reportedly called Adil Rami to convince him to come and the negotiations have been confirmed.
It’s been a crazy weekend for Adriano Galliani as he saw two players slipping from his hand in one afternoon as Geoffrey Kondogbia has joined Inter while Colombian striker Jackson Martinez is widely expected to join Atletico Madrid.
But Galliani doesn’t have a chance to rest or take a break and has confirmed that he’s in talks with Sevilla over Adil Rami.
“We have many issues on the table and are working hard at the moment,” Galliani ABC de Sevilla today. “We know that Sevilla want Rami and we are trying to reach an agreement. The talks are a private matter. We’ll see if we are able to agree terms with Sevilla, but it depends on many things.”
According to estadiodeportivo.com, Sevilla boss Emery phoned Rami to tell him to join. The defender famously paid €0.5m out of his own pocket to move to Milan from Valencia last year.
