Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still a target of Milan and they want to partner him up with Jackson Martinez next season.

Adriano Galliani has spent the last few days (and will continue today) in talks with Porto over Jackson Martinez as the Rossoneri want the striker but it seems that he’s not the only one Milan want as they are thinking about acquiring Zlatan.

Reports suggested earlier this week that Ibrahimovic had told Milan of his desire to return to the club where he played from 2010 to 2012 and according to Sky Italia, Milan are confident that they can bring the 33-year-old striker back and will talk with Paris SG once they manage to find a deal with Porto for Martinez.

As written on Di Marzio’s website, “the Rossoneri believe there aren’t many other suitors [in line for Zlatan] and are banking on the fact the French club would rather sell Ibrahimovic this summer rather than losing him for free at end of next season when his contract expires.”

Sky states that Milan will offer Ibrahimovic a three-year deal worth €7 million per season if they can reach a deal with PSG, who are apparently already looking for a replacement.

I know some guys don’t want him but I for one would love to see him back

He’s a goal machine and the experience he’d bring is priceless

Champions league here we come and how we’ve missed those magical nights

Nildinho

I know we have been fooled before. But it is hard NOT to start the dreaming! An attack with Jackson and the incredible ibra! Wauv that Sounds leathal!

rosso138

So where does SES shows up in this story? Jackson and Ibra would be huge but can they really play together? Ibra and Cavani weren’t able, Ibra and SES either. Eventually we’ll end up loosing a huge talent while Ibra will retire. And we’ll end up with what? Buying whole new front departement. Mihajlovic said he wants SES as he sees him as an integral part of his Milan, so i see two options if he is to play Ibra, Martinez and SES together: -442 with SES on the wing with his work rate -4312 with SES behind strikers where… Read more »

i think ibra and cavani/jackson can work together as they are 2 different players. ibra is more of a playmaker who loves to touch the ball as often as possible while cavani is a goalscorer who works great off the ball. the problem is, psg put cavani on the wing. maybe if they play with 2 forwards instead, cavani will perform better. but i’m sure SES will have a problem unless he change his playstyle.

Gman

Why are you so obsessed with SES, the guy had one half season with good displays, the rest of his milan career has been average and injury prone. We can’t depend too much on a injury prone player. + He has decline same with big mouth De Sciglio who has been miserable this season. These to kids are not irreplaceable, remember that we are AC Milan and we have a new generation of youth coming up with as much potential as SES & DE Sciglio has.

Cryptic

I don’t know why but I rather get Zlatan and bring back Niang than buy J. Martinez.
I feel like 433 fits us better with
El sharaawy- zlatan-Niang/Honda/Suso/Cerci
Van ginkel/montolivo- Kondogbia- jack/suso
With menez in trade with kondogbia
and maybe a new creative midfielder just worried where a 442 leaves el sharaawy and Niang with J. Martinez and zlatan up top. If we get champions league I believe we can attract veratti to come if he stays at Psg this season.

Silver

What will happen with El Shaarawy when we will get both of them?

rosso138

He will maybe play LM, and Bona cm or Cam..
41212 or 442 or even 4312 or maybe 4231 with jackson behind ibra??
Bonaventura can play in the middle and on the left, so bona, ses, ibra and jackson can all play in first 11…

Silver

Thank you, I can totaly see Stephan as a box-to-box LM actually. I really hope that Suso will be used aswell on the other flank

rosso138

I agree, he is always helping in defense and he is great in fast attack and fast moving from def to attack

Jibola

Corriere dello Sport reports this morning that Milan have reached agreement with Monaco for Kondogbia for 27 million euro and Galliani will fly straight to Monaco soon as he concludes a deal for Jackson Martinez.

cuore rosso

Damn Galliani is on fire when he have money they seem to be closing thing fast, if all rumors are true we should reach CL next year if not the coach sucks cause the players are more than able to own atlas the mid table teams with no problem

rosso138

Martinez, Ibra and Kondogbia in same transfer market? And maybe Hummels or one good cb? With bringing back Ely and Niang?

What is going on??

I just hope this all is not lies, it has gone too far already, if we really sign them I will be over my mind… Honestly, I would be happy with only getting rid of dead weight this mercato…

r.kaka

Galliani very busy …. No rest .. Been a while since he had funds available, I’m confident Galliani will get the job done

milan6791

menez out???? Is that true.if it is i am really Happy

they will keep him as back-up

Ibra is one the ‘real men’ Gattuso told us we’re lacking… and i’m happy about this but still waiting for it to become official

SPEAKING ABOUT MENEZ I KNOW MANY OF U GUYZ WANT HIM TO LEAVE TO BE HONEST SO AM I BUT I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE HIM ONE MORE CHANCE TO PROVE HIMSELF ..WELL I THINK EVERYBODY DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE SO I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE HIM ONE MAYBE JUST MAYBE HE WILL CHANGE HIS STYLE OF PLAY .. HE HAS TALENT THAT WE CAN USE WITHOUT HIS SELFFISHNESS HE WILL BE WONDERFUL TO HAVE HIM IN THE SQUAD , HE MAY HAVE CAUSE US MUCH GAME BECAUSE OF HIS SELFFISH BUT HE ALSO WON US MUCH.. WELL AS FOR… Read more »

I think you should check your caps lock button. You forgot it on.

And honestly I don’t care much about menez. If he stays, I only want him as an impact sub, but noting more. I don’t ever want to see the fail false 9 strat with menez up top.

RKaY

In my opinion, if he were to be a substitute, you might as well sell him while his price is as high as it will be. No point not selling him for 10-12 million (just an estimate) if he’s only going to be a sub

falsephrophet

Yup, If i were Galliani, i would use him as a bargaining chip for Kondogbia. If Ibra and Martinez signed that is..

Maldinipersempre

This Mercato may be historic. If all of these moves actually happen. SES can play with Ibra I dint know where people got this idea he can’t from. He barely played before Ibra left. Ibra came out and said he preferred playing with the Italians over thr Brazilians. When he left SES had his breakout year. So I don’t know where all this he wasn’t able to play with Ibra talk is coming from

angel

i fear SES might be a one-season wonder

rosso138

I fear that too, with all those injuries..
But still, there is hope, same goes foe de sciglio…

But they both have talent, and in the right club/squad they would be amazing…

I just hope that that club will be Milan

Maldinipersempre

I dunno about that. I think he was a product of the Allegri system. He carried the team on his back before Balotelli got here and Allegri thought he was Ibra.

Lexy

Galliani should be fast bout every players he wants to get before other teams get them. Thank God there is someone to splash money

rosso138

Honestly, Galliani used to know how to buy players worth 30m for 10m… Now, he is just using buy-out clause, and that can everybody do. As much as I love fact that we are buying big time and that we want to invest, and even i adore players in which we are interested, I still think that this is too much money for Milan. Let me explain – who knows what will happen when we spend 150m? Fin.Fair play punishment? Balancing books next 10 years? Im afraid of that… But I still think that this investment is needed, but I… Read more »

Maldinipersempre

Now your complaining they are spending to much money? Jeeze. No winning with the fan base eh? Unfortunately this is what soccer has become. Over inflated prices thanks to the oil rich clubs spending tens of millions on no name players and making the big players way overpriced

angel

and where are those who were crying for saponara

rosso138

If we are speaking about time before this roumors and possible investments:

You wouldnt cry for Saponara if you know that Muntari and Essien will be playing??

Maldinipersempre

Saponara was never that good for milan. Of course he is going to shine in Empoli. He’s all they have. People need to relax about him. And Cristante. He has done nothing in Benfica and has been far from impressive

Yaser7

Saponara could still be of great use to Milan. I hope Milan somehow manage to keep him and give him another year on loan with another club. I believe he has great potential.

Its not a crime to have IBRA, j.Martinez, playing in the attack and niang, menez, elsharawey etc sitting content on the bench. If they were in barca or man.u for instance they would be on the bench as well as good backup or promising young player. I say we keep them and release only those dead weights. If we manage to buy kongdobia Jackson and IBRA, then we just need to clear our squad then bring in a few young guys.

ACTito46

Ibra will not arrive. He said He wants to stay in Paris. Too Bad. Dream 1 is over.
