Jackson Martinez and Yanice Brahimi have reportedly been identified by Milan as targets for the summer and Adriano Galliani is already in Portugal.
Galliani was in Berlin on Saturday for the Champions League final and also to meet Mino Raiola to see if there’s a possibility of bringing back Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Milan.
Raiola stated yesterday that PSG won’t sell their star forward and it turns out that Milan already have an alternative in mind and in fact, Uncle Fester is already in Portugal to initiate talks with Porto to talk about an old target of Milan – Jackson Martinez.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, the CEO is now in Portugal and in the coming hours will meet the leaders of Porto to talk about the 28-year-old Colombian striker who is also followed by Arsenal among others. Another Porto player who is of interest for Milan is Yacine Brahimi.
Martinez has an exit clause of 35 million and Doyen Sport could help the Rossoneri in acquiring the impressive striker. Doyen’s Nelio Lucas could be present in the meeting.
Is brahimi any good
Actually the way he played this season he could be better signing than Martinez. Im not saying he is better but again he is younger and very tenacious.
Brahimi is one hell of a player. Best African player for 2014 says it all
He´s too good to want to go to a club thats not even in the Europa League…sad but true 🙁 Probably Jackson Martinez as well unfortunately, although maybe it wont matter if we pay his buyout. In any case, if we somehow do manage to get them both, I will do somersaults of joy, because they´re probably the 2 best players in Portugal right now and would definitely make the team MUCH better
Now we are talking! J.Martinez is a beast!
Good attack wins games, good defence wins titles. I wont mind if they bring martinez and brahimi, but then i want that they bring kondogbia and some good CB and i mean really good one.
This makes a lot more sense than signing Ibra and Dani Alves.
If Milan signs these two it would be AWESOME!!!
Bring them on !!!
When it is official that martinez has been signed, then i would limp in joy.
y do we need brahimi..we hav ses for LW…
we want mitrovic….and some midfielders from holland
He can play on both wings and in CAM/CF, that quality is great to have, he has 7 goals and 6 assists this season, which is great for attacking midfielder/winger.
He is young and talented… what more do you need??
Do you want kucka instead???
Hey man he is a beast.. One of the best young talents… I am more excited about brahimi than Jackson…. Will love to see both of them playing for Milan…
SES isn’t gonna play every game.
At least he shouldn’t.
Dani Alves will be a good signing . Ok nick
Haha for real
I disagree my friend. Danilo is a better option than Dani Alves. Milan are only interested in Dani Alves because he is out of contract. Dani Alves is only interested in Milan because he wants more money and we are the only club stupid enough to pay him a ridiculous salary for his age. Milan is not a retirement home for old players who are past their best or 2 seasons away from being finished. Milan must stop looking for out of contract players and invest in young proven players like Danilo and Jackson Martinez. You have to build a… Read more »
Once again danilo is at Real Madrid brother
Thanks man! but i was using Danilo as a reference if we are to go for a RB. Our new signings must be young and proven and not old and almost finished like Dani Alves.
Well, you have some good points there mate, but:
Alves is currently one of best RBs in the world, he could be good for at least 3 more years.
De Sciglio and Calabria can learn from him.
I agree that Darmian would be better cause we have Abate, De Sciglio and Antonelli, and I say that RB/LB positions are not our priority this moment…
How about Carvajal if we need a good RB he’s young and will most likely be dropped to the bench now that Danilo is there
We not gonna get Alves he just signed a new Barcá contract for 2 years with an option of an additional one…
Yes yes now I can dream again.. forza Milan
Until they are official signings, I’ll just look on… We’ve been through this before….!
Comment:pls if we can take Brahimi,Martinez and Soriano,we will be happy.
Jackson Would be awesome! But I dont think we need brahimi Even tho he is very good.
We need atleast one center back. But the most important is center mid. We realy need 3 proven midfielders. One bulldoser to sit in front of defense. One that can defend and attack and one very creative and have an eye for goal.
Now that’s what i like to read although this are just rumours, it would be something for the future and if they can throw in Kondogbia and maybe Darmian i’ll shed a tear at the end of mercato!
Our pressing priority should be selling or releasing players. If we include the first team squad and those on loan we have over 40 players. Plus youth players. Plus 3 managers. With no European football next season. This is crazy. We need one quality striker and one midfielder to replace de jong if he leaves and i hope he doesnt. Alves is a no for me. 32 years old and we will have to increase our top wage by 50%! And with no re-sell value. And in a position where we have arguably our biggest strength in abate and dessiglio.… Read more »
Gianluca di marzio don’t carry rumours, when he writes any story about transfer trust me something is actually happening. The two signing will be good for the team.
Brahimi sounds awesome, who we need even more is Verrati! He is going to make sure everything is flowing smooth from defence to midfield and attack. That guy is a skillful beast! Even Torres is going to be his old, if he supplies him the way he does. I really like Martinez but he is nearly 30 now. Do we need to spend more than 25Mil on him he is not going to play for so long at this high level he is doing now.
He is 28. I see 5 years of very good football out of him
Mediaset have also claimed that galliani will fly to France for kondogbia and then go to Germany for hummels.. Imagine getting those players, Dani alves, kondogbia, Jackson Martinez, and hummels. That would be amazing.. Get verratti too and would be too good to be true
Im all for Ibra and Alves…but I agree J-Mart would be a smarter investment, besides, Chelsea will likely outbid us for Ibra…. We fans should not be as worried about finances as Galliani has trained us to be, FFP is being relaxed, and its delusional to think that Silvio doesnt have money to burn…financially speaking, the most important thing is for Milan to start earning UCL revenue, at all costs…any player that will help achieve this should be welcome at this point, regardless of age… *On another note, I hope Bee eventually gains full control of Milan…I know many Italians… Read more »
sell menez buy these 2 and use them as center forwards or play with 2 strikers so that we dont add to the already over populated attacking midfield suso el shar honda mastour plus some of the other youth players to add into the squad
Well might as well add defensive duo and a keeper to the target areas.. Don’t get me wrong I think Diego Lopez is good and he will for sure get even better given time but i don’t think he is CL material – I mean I don’t think he has what it takes to maintain performance in CL for example semi-finals or finals… If you think about it we have won CL with keepers like Dida, Abbiati, Rossi…. don’t think Diego Lopez fits the names… anyways happy that finally things are gonna be getting somewhere with the transfers… hopefully Galliani… Read more »
Diego might not be as good as dida in hes prime, but he is better then abbiati ever was. If he aint champions league material who is? lol.
He is on top 10 in the world. if you gonna invest in something better you got to trow all our budget in to it. and its a waist of money. Real won Champions league with him there.
Get perin to learn from diego and then maybe he will become a top keeper for us one day.
We took so much sh*t last season that I would be more than shocked if we actually make such good signings…. of course I am optimistic as I have always been when it comes to Milan but I think that Galliani will find a way to screw this up….. I must say I am really for new management of the club… Berlusconi had his years in Milan he got titles money whatever now it’s time to make way I think…. He got us out back in the 80 now he dragged us back there… I say let someone else take… Read more »
WE ONLY NEED BONERA! UNCLE FESTER YOU HAD BETTER RENEW BONERA’S CONTRACT OR I WILL STRANGLE YOU!
FORZA BONERA!
PROMOTE BONERA TO OUR NEW MANAGEMENT
These two will be superb signings for Milan…
Galliani just do it
Just buy what we need, in fact that we just go for serie A and coppa so don’t waste any money for buy or pay the big sallary players, keep it for next year, i believe we will in UCL. First, try clear the skuad in to 23, cos we dont need much player, i think we just need 3-4 player for reinforcement. 1. Find a CB, i hope TS33 but it’s not gonna happen. 2. Find a Centre FW, i hope an experience but still good, cos pazzo, matri, destro probably departure, so our striker are young (ses, niang, ect) so they can… Read more »
ABOUT THE DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER IF DE JONG DEPARTS I WILL REALLY LIKE IF WE CAN GET ONE OF WANYAMA OR MAN CITY FERNANDO THEY HAVE A GOOD HEIGHT AND CAN BE A BULLDOZER OF THE TEAM ..WHAT DO U GUYZ THINK..
Wanayama is a possibility. Fernando needs to lose his place in the tram first as he wont move to a non cl team that will not win anything AND take a pay cut.
You guys won’t seriously believe it…. Porto want 50 Million Euros for Brahimi and there’s an exit clause of 35 Million euros on Jackson Martinez. Galliani hoping for a discount but on both of them, but at the same time Galliani is going to Montecarlo for Kondogbia…. Our hopes are up again, I just hope we don’t end up with some below average players after all these Galliani’s tour around Europe. And when precisely will the overhaul begin?
I guess we have Chelsea and Man City to thank for these ridiculous over inflated prices. It’s a shame. 10 years ago both could be had for around 20 million. What a joke transfer costs have become. In other news. Galliani is also going to Germany to speak with Dortmund in regards to Hummels. That would be a huge pick up. Finally have a defensive anchor who can bring the ball out. Again all just rumours but great rumours to be hearing this early in the year.
REPORT JUST CAME IN THAT MILAN ARE LOOKING FOR ALL THIS PLAYERS Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Mats Hummels
Axel Witsel
Yacine Brahimi
Jackson Martinez
Geoffrey Kondogbia
IMAGINE IF WE GET ALL THIS PLAYERS …
HUMMELS? WHY HUMMELS?!! HUMMELS IS DISGUSTING! WHY SIGN HUMMELS WHEN WE HAVE BONERA!!!! YOU CALL YOURSELF ROSSONERI AND YET YOU WOULD SIGN A REPLACEMENT FOR OUR CROWN JEWEL, OUR GREATEST ALLY IN BONERA!!!
(Hummels has told the press earlier that he will not be leaving Dortmund, after being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United)
I don’t really care about Brahimi but bring Jackson Martinez in immediately!
dis is probably d best news have read in recent times now but i wont b so reliant cos bros G always comes up with mediocre at d end n start giving reasons, hav had enough heart break in the past merceto we’v done,so fingers cross now n i will reserve my joy for now but if we can pull dis out n some good signings to back it up,it will b awesome n den i can boldly say D KING OF EUROPE IS BACK N BETTER but till den,i rest my case.FORZA MILAN
Some good news… Dani Alves has signed his barca extension so there’s no need to worry about the 6m story which in my opinion was a waste of money!

————Martinez———–
—El shaa–Bonave–Salah—-
—-DeJong——Kondog—-
De Scig–Rami–??[Hummels/Subotic)–Abate
————-Lopez——————
Bench:
Suso-Salah
Honda-Bonaventura
Niang- Matinez
OBIANG- De Jong
Paletta-Rami
Gabriel- Lopez
**Really hope we keep De Jong. PErhaps, just to satisfy Galliani’s fetish, Milan should put him on the transfer market for a few hours and then resign him on free transfer. I can only imagine how administration would then boast about what an amazing transfer guru Galliani is.
You really made me laugh with this comment (Galliani part)
We need a replacement for De Jong – I’d like Kondogbia or Alex Song
Midfield – Baselli, Bertolacci, Brahimi and Salah (on loan)
Defence – Darmian, Umtiti and Romagnoli
Attack – Lukaku/Dzeko + Jovetic (on loan)
Also take note we need to build our team and cannot just have a complete overhaul. Build on this in the coming seasons
Keep Suso, SES, Niang, Mexes, Abate, De Sciglio, Poli, Bonaventura (has a knack of scoring goals) Saponara.
Lukaku isnt coming here. I cant keep stressing this to people here lol. Neither is Dzeko. It just isnt financially responsible to shell out money for these players. If Porto is asking 35 million for Martinez can you imagine what the asking price of Lukaku is? Over 60 million. Easily. Thats a very expensive striker. We could solidify the midfield and defense with that much money and still bring in Martinez who is a beast.
Milan should of signed Jackson Martinez when he was playing for Jaguars in Chiapas @ Liga MX, they would of got him for cheap cheap
I would have loved Van Ginkel on a cut-price, to leave more funds for that proper top calibre talent(a 23 goal striker,a 15 assist midfielder or a dominant cb)..for eg. De Bruyne, Mkhitaryan, Cavani, Eriksen, Witsel, Vietto, Hummels , Benatia, Darmian, Abdennour whoever is at the top of the game or bubbling under. We need a player who will drag us to a higher standard next season
I strongly agree with u.. de bruyne or eriksen would be great additions!
REPORT JUST CAME IN THAT IBRAHIMOVIC SAID YES TO MILAN SO NOW THEY HAVE TO TALK TO PSG TO RESOLVE THE DETAILS..WELL I KNOW MANY OF U GUYZ DON’T WANT IBRAHIMOVIC BUT I WISH WE DO AND MAYBE WITH A YOUNG ATTACKER MITROVIC OR JACKSON MARTINEZ OR SOMEONE VERY YOUNG AND VERY GOOD .
Let’s hope this is sign of better things to come. @ Nick, spot on man, 1,000 likes.
Reports are we have deal with Ibra, and now we are meeting with PSG to discuss him.. Ibra IS and WILL be great at least 3-4 more seasons, he is durable and one of best attacers currently, having him and 3-4 young attackers like el shaa, niang and few new and young ST, we would be on a horse!! Other report said that we signed 4 year deal with Rodrigo Ely, our CB on loan, who joined Milan in 2010… He is 21 years old has experience he played many games in serie B.. And also he played many games… Read more »
Galliani spoke with Ibrahimovic on the phone (while Raiola was there), according to Sky. Galliani asked Ibra if he wanted to return to Milan, and he said yes. So reportedly, Jackson Martinez is an alternative in case Ibra’s deal fails, but it looks most likely that Ibra is on his way back to Milan..! Good news for me, don’t know about ya’ll… I love IBRA…!
THE SAME HERE THAT GUY IS AMAZING AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM RETURN TO OUR BELOVED MILAN HE WILL HELP US ALOT EVEN THOU IS NOT YOUNG LIKE MANY OF YOU GUY WANT..
With Ibra, Kondogbia and one more CREATIVE midfielder (and getting rid of bonera and other dead wood) this mercato would be awesome…
And if we buy quality CB like Hummels, Subotic, Doria… And keep young hope Ely, and maybe one young striker, and bringung back Niang, this mercato would be perfect!
Lopez
Abate Hummels Paletta DeSc/Antonelli
Van ginkel Kondogbia Bonaventura
Niang Ibra SES
This would be real combo of stars, experience, youth and potenial…
