Honda favourite over Suso and Cerci for the derby, Destro returns to training with the group

Keisuke Honda and Mattia Destro are fit to play on Sunday against Inter and the Japanese is more likely to start than Cerci and Suso at the moment.

As reported by Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano, Inzaghi is considering who to field in attack when Milan take on Inter.

Keisuke Honda and Mattia Destro have both recovered from their respective injuries and Di Stefano claims that at the moment the Japanese is favoured to start the bench on the right wing (Milan will surely play 4-3-3), leaving Alessio Cerci and January signing Suso on the bench. It’s unclear if Destro will be used from the start with Menez and Honda or whether he’ll be kept as a substitute.

Di Stefano states that even a Giampaolo Pazzini start is not off the table while Menez as a false nine would see Bonaventura and Honda flanking the Frenchman. The match is this Sunday at 20:45 CET.

How can Inzaghi play Honda who just come from injury this is a sham … You better play Suso or even cerci this is the Derby we need a strong midfilers de jong, van Gankel,Bonaventure

Omg why, just why he dont give chance to suso? In half an hour he showed more than honda and cerci all season…
He trained primavera, i thought he would be first to use youngsters… And then he plays same old players like allegri (and partly seedorf – essien, muntari, bonera…)..
For god’s sake give youngsters a chance!!

btw does anyone know what is with mastour? Something with his leg.. when will he be back?

Vinnie

Be fair: He no longer plays Muntari, and when did we last see Essien? Jack, NDJ, Van Ginkel has been the midfield lately, so your argument seems a bit outdated. And Bonera, when did he last even come on? The team is gelling, the back four with Antonelli, Mexes, Paletta and Abate are doing well. MDS was horrible when he came in against sampdoria, his positioning was off, his touches were bad and passes horrific, but most importantly HE IS A DEFENDER AND HE DID NOT TRACK BACK on several occasions. THAT is not acceptable. Starting Honda on the right… Read more »

Unfortunately Suso has legs which are too young

Inzaghi hate foreign and young players

dejan10

Of course he’s going to play out of form Honda rather than in form Suso. This is Inzaghi people.

I have a solution to the youth problem which is we are not seeing enough of them its simple, just sell all and i mean all of the older more experienced players in certain positions like wingers not NDJ or LOPEZ though, because thats the only time the coach will have no choice playing them oh and take back niang and sapornara

john

Its not a superise he is a stupid man. He takes one step foward and two steps back wards

derek

pls fellow milan fans how far with the takeover of milan

dear Lord
what at all is wrong with Inzaghi… when will he start playing suso ahead of cerci and honda

pelle80

This is why i dislike him as a coach…he never learns from his nistakes and he lacks confidence.suso is better than honda+bonaventura+cerci+poli……

captain

My major problem with the coach is that when he cerci in one game then he will change next mach wat is wrong with he don’t have faith in his player.pls lss find another coach pls

Comment: inzaghi 2 me,he z not a coach…playin a player who just recover from injury.wen u hav player dat re fit on d bench…..I only care about next season, cuz dis season is a crab 2 milan

I dont have a problem with him staying honda over cerci and suso. Honda is a good player. But if he is going to start, he needs to play more centrally in his proper position. He is less suited to a 433 so if thats the formation we are playing he needs to start on the bench or play a more disciplined role in the midfield three.

Personally id like to see a 4231 with him in the middle of the three.

Inzaghi never ceases to amaze me.. I would have said it’s mere rumor if it didn’t come from Sky…
