Keisuke Honda’s injury could keep him out of the derby on April 19th but Inzaghi will welcome back two defenders for next Sunday’s match.
Inzaghi has always claimed that when the squad is complete Milan will finally pick up points again and slowly he’s recovering many of his players. Unfortunately for him, he also keeps losing some to injuries.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Honda – who yesterday left Milanello before the start of the training – is definitely out of the Samp game next Sunday with the knee injury and he is also likely to miss the derby against Inter on April 19th. It’s perhaps the first ‘break’ Honda has got all season.
Cristian Zapata and Adil Rami however are finally back and yesterday trained normally and should be called-up for the match against Samp. Nonetheless, the defender against the boys of Sinisa Mihajlovic is expected to consist of Ignazio Abate, Gabriel Paletta, Philippe Mexes & Luca Antonelli.
Zapata has been out with a fracture at the base of the second metatarsal in his right foot since January while Rami picked up his calf injury at the end of February.
