Mattia Destro has said ‘it’s hard to comment on the goal’ after the defeat in which, he thinks, Milan played well.
Destro gave Milan the lead in the 56′ minute with a goal of a true striker but it was not enough as the Rossoneri conceded two goals – both headers – in the 83′ and 89′ minute and once again return to Milano empty handed.
“It’s a shame about the result, we played a good match against a very good side that showed it was in form,” Destro said.
“Straight after the goal perhaps we dropped back a bit too much, we should have scored another goal right away, because we were playing well and we had the chances too.
“Fiorentina have quality players and they reopened the game. We must take the positives from this match and continue playing the way we did in the first-half and for part of the second-half. My goal? It’s hard to comment on the goal, because this is a defeat that hurts. We head home disappointed about the result.
Bye-bye Inzaghi… I honestly don’t know what to expect again. A team is as good as it’s coach and seeing how this team performed thru out the season it says a lot about you. I’m just riding the rest of the games out till seasons end, and hoping the 40% stake to be bought by Thai business group. Hearing news of Maldini & Probably Seedorf Return brings me hope, at least Mr Bee has a vision and Kojack days are numbered.
seedorf is tough to handle and because of him a lot of players were about leave Milan. Milan played good football yesterday until scoring the goal. after the goal we always park the bus and it’s pathetic. chemistry is better but fitness level is horrible after 80 minutes they could barely run. aerial threat and marking problems are still a huge problem. Lopez, Paletta, Abate, Honda and Bonaventura played great, Destro needs some more time to adapt. i think having Pippo as an assistant coach would be the best he loves players and they love him.
@Levano,you are Inzaghi’s supporter,he needs to leave asap,we can’t take him as an assistant coach and who said the players loves him???The real truth about what is happening in the locker room will be exposed by some of the players once Inzaghi leaves.
He had a problem with Cerci and perhaps few other player and Galliani came in as the abitrator, why didn’t Galliani do the same for Seedorf who had problems with the mediocre players Galliani signed(the ones Seedorf rejected)???
