Adil Rami has joined Milan’s injury list but Gabriel Paletta could return vs. Chievo, at least for a bench role.

Milan have had an unbelievable amount of injuries in the past few years regardless who of the coach is on the sidelines and the problem doesn’t seem like it’s going to be solved as the number of injured players is getting bigger by the week.

Yesterday (Wednesday) the Rossoneri announced on their website that “Adil Rami has suffered a calf injury and the player will have another check-up in a week.”

Rami will obviously miss the match on Saturday and Inzaghi will have to choose between Alex, Bocchetti and a returning Mexes for the 2 center back roles. According to the Milan Channel, it’s also possible that Gabriel Paletta will recover in time for the game and could be fit enough at least to see on the bench.

Bocchetti should definitely start in any case…up until Mexes losing his head against Lazio, he was poor during the entire game, he was very good and consistent. So probably play him next to Bocchetti, maybe Alex.
I wish Rami a speedy recovery! Probably our best centre back in his day, hope he can find his form back once he has recovered.
