MILAN HAVE extended their deal with Fly Emirates, they announced this Monday.

After many flights and meeting, Milan Vice President Barbara Berlusconi has managed to agree a deal with Fly Emirates over the continuation of the partnership with Fly Emirates, their main sponsors. Today, in a joint press conference with Barbara and Fly Emirates’s CEO Sir Tim Clark present, they announced the renewal of the deal until the 2019/2020 season.

“This is an important day for AC Milan, the city of Milan, but also for Italy,” Barbara said in the presser on Monday. “An important international player such as Emirates decides, in fact, to invest with conviction in AC Milan and in Italy. We share many common values: quality, style, innovation, professionalism, and a winning spirit.

“Emirates, with its aircraft and infrastructure, connects the whole world. Also AC Milan, through the red-and-black passion, connects more than 370 million fans in all continents. I’d also like to underline the importance of the arrival of the A380 in Milan. An aircraft fitted with every comfort, technologically advanced and able to transport a larger number of people with less impact on the environment. This is news that is of great value and importance to our country,” she added.

The deal is believed to be worth €18m per season + bonuses (highest in Italy), bringing it to a total of €100 mil going into Milan’s coffers in the next five years. As reported by acmilan.com: In addition to the Emirates brand appearing on the front of AC Milan’s playing and training kits, the new agreement also includes branding within San Siro Stadium, The Emirates Lounge – a dedicated in -stadia hospitality suite, sponsorship of the youth team as well as a number of marketing rights.

“It’s a double celebration for Emirates as we deepen our relationship with this great city, heralding two iconic moments, the renewal of our AC Milan sponsorship and introduction of our dedicated A380 service to Milan,” commented Tim Clark. “It is only fitting that we are re-signing with Italy’s most well-known club, on the same day we land the world’s largest aircraft.

“As the most awarded football club in the world, AC Milan’s strong global appeal and ambitious approach to the game closely mirrors our own, making them an incredibly valuable partner for our brand. A global fan base, a commitment to quality and the ability to connect people are just a few shared values that have helped to make this partnership so successful over the last seven years.” Fly Emirates are also the sponsors of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

Milan will be in Dubai later this month to face Los Blancos and Carlo Ancelotti for a friendly. As said by Sir Clark: “32.000 tickets were available for the Milan-Real Madrid friendly in Dubai, and they were all sold in less than 24 hours.”

That’s EXCELLENT news!!! Given the fact the we are so bad for the past couple of seasons (we actually [email protected]), this deal is really surprising!! We desperately need money for transfers and, most importantly, our own new stadium!!!

Forza Milan!! Well done Barbara!!

Meagre €18mill per annum smh I’m so saddened by how cheap our brand has become. if we were in the same economic circumstances 10 years ago we could have demanded at least triple, if not quadruple this amount.

Barbara is AC Milan now take it or leave it and she’s the future. No money made by Barbara would be taken by Berlusconi for any sort of nonsense because she’s highly supported and she has her set goals for Milan.

God bless Barbara

Some nonsense from fans yet again. This is the best deal in Italy currently.
Only juve has a 30 million deal with Nike. But milan has 18 million with Adidas too. Given the circumstances of Italy only juve can command such a high sponsorship deals. If milan has their own stadium they will definitely have the most money

Rumour is that Milan is trying to resign Thiago Silva for €20mn. Which seems believable.. They’ve got the Emirates money now.. Plus Lady B said that she has already generated €2mn from Casa Milan.. Imagine if we spend this winter/summer. We’ll be back in CL in no time and get almost €50-60mn from CL QF rounds. I want the team to be like this… Perin/Lopez Abate/Donati-Silva-Schar/Rami-MdS De Jong Monty/Khadiera-Bonaventura Honda-Karamric-El92

Lol you are totally delusional! Why an earth would PSG sell the best defender in the world for 20m?! For half the price they paid 2 years ago?! When they recently extended his contract until 2018?! Also, when was the last time we spent anything above 10m without selling a player of equal value? I’ll tell you years ago! Pato paid for Balo and Boateng paid for Matri. You need to get your head out the clouds and understand we’re not spending ANYTHING until our new stadium’s built (3-4 years). Btw I believe Thiago Silva will one day return to… Read more »

Lol this changes what exactly? Nothing! If anything the paltry amount just confirms our midtable status. Check the amounts other elite teams are getting if you want to cry. Also, NONE of this money will be spent on transfers. Instead, it’ll be used to balance the books when we fail to qualify for CL and signing/renewing free fodders like Torres/Muntari. Also, don’t think Emirates asking for stadium naming rights equals transfer funds. That money will solely be used for construction costs nothing else. Basically what I’m saying is expect nothing but free transfer fodders and rejects other clubs don’t want… Read more »

“The investment from Emirates should generate around 100 million euros for the rossoneri over the next five years, money that will go into strengthening the squad and into the planned new stadium.”

Lets see how much will actually be spent in transfers.

Lets all hail inzaghis midfield once muntari is back. Muntari- De jong- Poli midfield!

I really think berlusconi is doing this on purpose to make milan lose games and he collects money. He is the one who tells allegri and inzaghi to play 3 defensive mids to not build up attacks.

Why do u think bonera plays time after time? No coach is that blind to not see his misstakes. Bonera plays because berlusconi orders it.

If berlusconi really cared of milan he would never sack seedorf

At least think positively for once. It took Barbara lots of efforts to pull this deal and u still here reasoning backwards?

What deal? What money? Oh yes the money which goes to “balance the books” even though our president is a 6 times billionare?

Where did the money from kaka go? From Ibra and silva?

We never asked berlusconi to sign a player for 100 M euro like other teams, but at least dont sell your stars and replace them with serie D players and blame it on FFP.

Milan with money or not, we will still sign free agents players over 30 years old regardless which deal we pull

I’m might be wrong, but Milan is getting 14m € per year from Emirates with the contract they got now, so I won’t expect any signings or some with the new deal. To Sheva: Call me naive, but I really believe Berlusconi is telling the coaches what to do lol.
