Report: Milan rejects offers for Niang and Saponara

FILIPPO INZAGHI has confidence in Saponara and Niang and does not want to see them go.

The American Tour was far from a success but it seems that coach Inzaghi got some answers to his questions and has apparently been convinced by Riccardo Saponara and M’Baye Niang thanks to their pre-season performances.

Saponara didn’t play a lot last season under Massimiliano Allegri and Clarence Seedorf while Niang returned this summer after a loan spell at Montpellier. Galliani had already told Niang to find a new team but Inzaghi rediscovered the Frenchman who did well in the 2014 edition of the Guinness ICC and against C.D. Guadalajara.

Galliani set for a weekend of mercato work in Forte dei Marmi
Report: Milan make move for Napoli midfielder Dzemaili

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan rejected loan offers for Niang and Saponara from Parma and Empoli respectively. The reason for the rejection is a phone call between Adriano Galliani and Inzaghi that took place yesterday, in which the Rossoneri boss reaffirmed his confidence in the two. “Saponara? Milan want to keep him. If the player were on the market we would’ve come forward because we hold him in great esteem,” Empoli’s director of sport Marcello Carli said yesterday. “The return of Saponara? It’s an unlikely option. If there is a chance then it could reveal itself at the end of the market,” added Empoli’s coach Maurizio Sarri. Saponara, 22-year-old, is played by Inzaghi in a midfield role these days.

Niang, Saponara, Inzaghi and the entire squad is back in Italy after the Canada & USA Tour ended. Inzaghi will travel to Forte dei Marmi over the weekend to speak to Galliani about the experience in the American continent and the mercato.

Saponara out

at least lets get a team that will be competitive for the new season, tarrabt, lopez we need you.forza milan

Meh. Niang impressed me in Ligue 1 and he made good on his chances this summer.
I’m not so sure about Saponara. The drive seems to be there, but something’s missing.
Who knows. I wouldn’t mind him staying and I wouldn’t mind him going on loan.

Whats missing is him getting a good chance in the team, he always came on too late to really do much last season, and the team probably didn´t play much to his strengths either..

Niang(19),Saponara(21),El Sharaawy(21),Cristante(19),Mastour(16),DeSciglio(21),Balotelli(23),Poli(24),Petagna(18)…Milan Future…

uslar ses

Keep the two birds they will be useful in some ways…offload essien.get cerci.taraabt and diego lopez.albertazzi should be de sciglio rplacement,we don’t need armero the guy is a crap

Our former coach would’ve asked for a better quality players to bring our lost glory back, but unfortunately they conspired against him.
Expect more trash signings by uncle fester, hope he proves me wrong.

Our former coach would have asked for better quality players like Essien? Yeah right!

Ofcourse Like Doria, Blind,Clissen and lots of dutch talents

I really thought we’d go for Doria he’s exactly like Tiago silva and wouldn’t cost to much especially with robinho gone
