ARSENE WENGER has insisted that his club was never interested in signing Balotelli and said he has plans for Milan’s target Campbell.
The Milan mercato is completely stuck as they must move Robinho (or any other attacker for that matter) before buying new ones. The Rossoneri must sell and there have been many rumours that Arsenal are interested in signing Balotelli.
Adriano Galliani said Mario is 99.999 per cent sure to stay at Milan and according to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, the Gunners never considered signing the 23-year-old Italian striker.

Campbell an option, Ayew and Ben Arfa not Milan targets
“For weeks we were buying Balotelli from one minute to the other and it was all wrong. We were never in for him. We do not master the noises that come out,” Wenger said in a press conference today ahead of the Emirates Cup.
Wenger also discussed Joel Campbell, who is, as confirmed by the Milan Channel, a player Milan are evaluating for the right-winger position. “Yes, Campbell is part of my plans. He might play tomorrow against Benfica,” Wenger said. It’s reported in the press, however, that the Rossoneri will send a scout to follow Campbell during the Emirates Cup as they are very interested in getting the 22-year-old Costa Rican.
Meanwhile, Sky Italia reports that Milan have made new contacts for Adel Taarabt and Adriano Galliani is still hoping to get a discount from Queens Park Rangers: the current price is £6m (~ €7.5m) while Galliani wants to pay £3m (~ €3.7m). Harry Redknapp said this week that Adel, who was on loan at Milan last season, is “way out of shape” and needs to do plenty of work to be fit.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has linked Milan (and Juventus) with Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi today and il Corriere della Sera added that his agent has offered him to the clubs. His price and his salary, however, are probably too high.
We can’t buy the players we need, we can’t get rid of the players we don’t. I never thought of seeing Milan in this situation since I have been supporting them.
Its refreshing to hear from our manager about players on his radar and not what is on our screens repeatedly, I have always had faith in Arsen Wenger even when the headless chickens that goes by the names of Gooners or Arsenal supporters was screaming for the managers head and the Boards heads,I think they have gone underground where they came from,we are not use to hearing those types in our realm we should leave that language for our neighbours down the (roads) just a short piece and was very glad to allow like minded football fans to enjoy listening… Read more »
Wenger is not stupid – he doesn’t want thug ballotelli on his team and I don’t blame him. If players like Maldini, Baresi, Donadoni were still on the team, they would never allow that punk to do what he does. He has no class, no manners and is very lazy – total opposite of what Milan stands for (well, used to stand for).
Taarabt better get bought
