THE CURVA SUD has unleashed an attack on Adriano Galliani, putting their support behind the ‘innovative’ Berlusconi.
Milan’s new 2014/2015 season started yesterday with the players meeting Filippo Inzaghi for the first time and today the squad came to Casa Milan & there were around 2000 fans waiting for them to cheer but also to make themselves heard.
Some fans asked CEO Adriano Galliani to sign Erik Lamela from Spurs but the Curva Sud, Milan’s ultras, released a letter in which they expressed their dissatisfaction with the way in which Galliani has been doing his business in recent years.

“We are now all set to usher in the new season, but also to make our voices heard,” the letter of the Milan Curva Sud reads. “In fact, we stand here to support the new coach Pippo Inzaghi and Milan’s new project, the Casa and everything that revolves around it, but we feel the obligation to have our say about the vicissitudes that have followed one another in the last few seasons and have led to the current decline and the failure to qualifying to any European competition next season.
“We thought we’d see something new but instead the early news talk of the usual meetings and deals with the same faces, Presidents of various clubs and agents. There is still talk about ‘parameter-zero’ and purchases of mediocre players that are only meant to enrich the pockets of the agents. We saw our Milan slowly losing the most precious pieces. We see a club with super-paid players that arrived on a free transfer and because of that we’re no longer able to free ourselves from them.
“We have an executive (referring to Galliani) who says the company has no money to spend on the transfer market and then ‘blackmails’ it, asking €60 million as severance package to leave. An executive who makes market moves such as Alessandro Matri – overpays and then has to get rid of him as soon as possible (note: his Genoa loan move will be made official soon). The same executive who took Seedorf hastily in January and then gave him a sack of money at the end of the season because of the huge contract that had been signed. This is just to mention some of the cases in recent years.
“We are surprised that the President has yet to resolve the situation and the war that was created last season between those who want to bring change and innovation (note: speaking of Barbara Berlusconi) and those who want to continue to pursue their own interests, continuing on a line that has brought us to the current situation (note: referring to VP Adriano Galliani).
“We are here today to support our colors and our shirts, but not forgetting some of what happened last year: one of the worst seasons on the Berlusconi era with a gap of 45 points from the first in the standings and the exclusion from European competitions. The final insult is the price of the season-tickets, which seems unjustified at the least. We look at these new evolutions doing what we do best – support Milan at any cost. A year of anger. Return to be big. Return to be Milan.”
The title the Curva Sud gave the letter is “Always present but not silent.” Last year protest was made when Milan looked to sign Matri, to which Galliani responded that fans don’t run the club. But the fans aren’t happy with the way he runs it.

It’s the same old BS with Galliani, Silvio NEEDS to step in and put Barbara in charge and her first move would be to get Maldini as director. Only positive thing from last year was Casa Milan which was Barbara’s project. Bottom line if Galliani stays I want to see more transparency of where the funds are being allocated

Every fan that enters the San siro should wear a black armband in mourning for our club until galiani hands in his notice because it’s as good as dead as long as he’s in control of the most important part of a club which is signing players, we’ve all said it before but Maldini should be brought in to replace him and I’m sure Barbara Berlusconi would agree to it

Last year when Galliani was fighting Barbara he was said to be ready to quit Milan but Silvio stepped in and left him in charge. At that time when he was about to quit, he wanted $60 as severance package – he is an old dirt bag and doesn’t give a damn about Milan, just his own packet!

Galliani wants 60M for his service package but he(Galliani) been stingy to put 4M for Rami’s deal.. So i want y’all to tell me, is it Berlusconi fault that Galliani refuse to add 500K to 3.75 to rap up Rami’s deal… Galliani already have d money for d transfer. I appreciate what Curva said it is healthy to give your opinion but ppl here who keep saying that they are fed with cheering this club should look for another one and I think the ones that are owned by Arabs would be good for them. You are just deluded as Galliani then…I support this club and love the shirt and always will but I don’t see it in the rules anywhere that you need to spend 50 million on a player to be competitive…Even Barbara said Athletico is a perfect example of having success and not spending big. 500,000 euros to get a proven defender is not exactly breaking the bank. Galliani is saving all the money for his severance pay the day he leaves Milan. Galliani is working for his own interest and future, he’s currently in Gianino restaurant having dinner with Rami to discuss how he’s going to cut off 500k off the poor guy’s wages to complete the deal.

I woke up to a fine morning and then it went from good to bad in 0.1 seconds after reading this… ”Trabzonspor are ready to offer Milan as much as €4 million for Michael Essien according to Goal Ghana” And here was Milan’s response ”Milan have told Essien he can decide if he wants to stay or leave.
